    Black is ground, orange is 12v. I guess the mechanical ground was having problems so they did it right.

    Yep. That thin orange wire from the ring terminal to the 1 pin connector should be a fusible link.

    The ORANGE wire runs to the fuse box GLOW fuse. The 4 GP wires on the drivers side splice into that wire. Cut off the 4 glow plug wires at the splice. Use the ORANGE wire for the WTS signal.

    The drivers side GP feed, fat orange wire, goes to the drivers side glow plugs. Near where it exits the main loom to the glow plugs there will be a splice and another fat orange wire that runs to the fuse box.     Could be, but GM Guy said "removing the relay prevents it from doing it".

    That should rule out the ignition switch. If it is a wiring problem then it must be between the clutch switch and the UHFRC where the relay is.

    There are no fuses, relays, or switches between the ign. sw. and the starter on a 94 burb. Check the CRANK fuse for voltage when cranking. It does not feed the starter, but does signal the LP relay. Could be the firewall connector or even a fried sol. wire near the starter.
