I wonder us there any way to check a PMD/FSD to see if it is operating?

No bud no change. Seems to run about 15 min no prob at all and then just stops. Sometimes restarts right away and sometimes not. Starts cold no prob at all. Starts on one PMD in the fashion stated above but will not start at all on the other one I have that was in the truck for about 2 yrs...

No not yet. My reader does OBD II so I need to get a OBD I or do the old way of crossing the contacts and counting flashes.

About the only thing I haven't got to yet. Prob be a good idea to pull that out and check it. I did remove the box and check the lines at the top of the tank, just didn't pull out the pick up assembly yet

Thanks Will L. I am at a lose now, I checked and tightened all the fuel connections and still no change. Guess I'll have to start replacing all of them to eliminate the chance of air being the prob. Kinda strange how it acts, when cold it seems to run for about 15 min or so and restarts no prob...

Yes I did read ur post over and over, the main reason I changed the filter was to look for symptoms and haven't found anything wrong except filter tightening ring seemed a bit loose. Doesn't seem to be any fuel leaks from the line that I can find. Going to check all the connections around the...

Not insulted by any means but yes I did insure it was seated properly and that the O-ring was in place. Thanks for the tip.

Just replaced it last week which I thought solved my problem. Still have the original with the tightening ring. Double checked to make sure it's tight and seems to be secure.

Well guys I guess I was premature in hoping that my problem was solved. Made it to work with a couple of brief hiccups but the drive home was a nightmare. Quit 7 times, took me 2 hrs to do a 20 min drive. Seems that when it stalls I can see air bubbles through the clear line on the return. They...

I have two of them Burning Oil. Just bought a second one as a donor truck. Needed a tranny and the donor truck had a bad frame.

Will add a couple soon burning oil. She's nothing special really just an everyday ole truck.
