    I did that before and it worked but the issue now is internal and I don't feel like dealing with it.

    It will not reverse at all. I tried a pin kit but that did not work so it will need a new pin but it still won't reverse.

    White with tan interior. Has a blue bed topper also. Needs a transmission and tires. Motor runs but has a miss on 5, 6 and sometimes 4. It's not injectors. Has 300k+ miles. No body rust some surface frame rust. Has been a southern truck its whole life. Grill is broken and missing upper right...

    1995 GMC 6.5 TD thermostat

    Also clean the stack. With all the coolers and condenser up front that stuff catches a lot of debris. Just a gentle hose out for starters no pressure washer.

    I've eliminated the starter as the issue. I had rigged a switch on the purple wire and had the same noise issue. I'm now looking at a transmission issue.

    The REMY starter died so I got Famous Brand (carquest) on closeout from rockauto. So I'm going to chase some wires before I buy another starter. But I'm 95% sure the current starter is bad. Now to find a wiring diagram.

    Use the 99-00 gmt800 knuckles.

    I think if you get 99-00 knuckles you don't need to ream them the gmt400 tie rods fit.

    @Bezzer Is the gauge connected to the fuel line or the top of the fuel filter?
