    Surging and cutting out 1998 K2500 6.5 diesel Suburban

    i just fixed my surging and stalling with a new sender unit. old sock must have been to pluged. truck would idle fine but when it would stall driving and my ffm would be almost empty,so i changed lp and ops to no avail. sender unit today and fixed. good luck. 95 silverado k1500 6.5. 220km

    i put glow plug fuse back in wrong spot. all good now. new relay working fine also thx.

    found my problem, i think. purple or tan wire is not to be used. it runs oil gauge. the gray wire is cut not spliced with ops side going to86 and the lp side of gray going to 87. but im still with gpr error.

    ornge to pin#30 TAN TO #87 AND GRAY #86 GROUND TO #85 ON A 40 AMP RELAY. Could it be my new ops is causing glow plug relay error? relay is unhooked for now, im afraid to try it again and cook my ecm. also with a factory fuel pump relay in fuse panle under hood im not sure i need the mod ?

    so i unhook relay, change fuse and now i have no glow plug wait to start. gpr fires on both posts 1 for only8 sec or so. power making it past in line fuses right after gpr. truck runs fine but has code 29 gpr error. any thoughts on my next move? thx. oh ya, 95 silverado 1500 4x4 turbo 6.5.
