My 2006 Chevy 2500HD hit the 100,000 mile mark today after 18 years and 12 days. 3000 some hours, I'd have to look at the hour meter to be exact.
Major work was a new turbo a few years ago, and had some glow plugs replaced.
Left rear axle seal, one of the hubs, can't remember much about the...

Once again the Chevy drivetrain shines and puts the power to the ground.

According to Car and Driver an electric GM truck and other Manufacture electric trucks are on the way, soon.
I would be interested to see what kind of mileage range the truck had...
I found this to be interesting for sure. A guy claims his 2007 Chevy Duramax Truck has 1 Million miles and the 2015 GMC Duramax Truck has 500,000 miles on it.

Anybody for a Chevy 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 310 hp and 348 lb-ft of torque, offered for the first time ever in 2019.
Was just reading that on the internet, guess GM has to have a response to the Ford ECO Boost?
As you all know Ford announced a 3.0 Liter Power Stroke, V-6 ($ 2400 dollar option over the ECO Gas Motor) for the F150. Just read where Ford is claiming 30 MPG highway and 22 MPG City, I would assume that would in a 2 wheel drive version. 250 HP and 440 LB-Ft are the power ratings, so they...
This might be old news but I just read where the Ford F150 will have a 3 Liter Powerstroke late this fall in the 2018 Model. Chevy probably is not in no hurry to have one since the Colorado has a baby Duramax, what's your guys thoughts?
Ok guys, guess when it rains it pours as far as my bad luck. Put two brand new batteries in yesterday and I thought life is good. Today I get in my truck and start it and bam, guess what the freaking check engine light is on. Truck is running just fine and I am headed to Wally World and there...
The AC Delco batteries that came in my 2006 truck, that I bought new in early December of 2005 finally got to the point where I replaced them today. Not bad for almost 11 years I guess, knew it would probably be this winter when they puked. I noticed the truck would not crank as easy and my...
Just wondering if you guys would consider it to be acceptable to have to add (anti freeze) engine coolant (Dex Coolant) from time to time in our Duramax trucks. I have had to add engine coolant 2 or 3 times in the past year after the low coolant light came on. More than once I thought I...
