Well you're wrong. All HD 8 lug spindles (silverado) are the same. The wheel bearing is the only difference. if your thinking 1/2 ton or 6 lug then you would be right.

2 wheel drive uses the same spindle, but a different wheel bearing. If your looking in a bone yard just get the 4x4 spindle then you won't have to buy the bearing.

As of now I still have the Stock master. I have been thinking about doing hydroboost from the the later trucks but it work great now. I might change my mind after the Cummins is in place. I really want to try the ceramic pads next.

Having done this upgrade I'm very happy with it. The best part about it is the panic stopping. When you need to stop you stop! Over all it's been great the next set of pads I might try a ceramic pad to see if I can make the brakes even better.

Just today we upgraded my front brakes on my 98 K3500. We put Silverado 2500hd spindles,rotors and calipers on it. I've only driven it a couple of miles but it seems way better then the stock stuff. I'll report back when I have more miles on it and the pads are seated it.
