Oh...and a biggy...don't listen to a salesman about how much you can tow.
They are full of it bigtime. They will sell you the biggest, baddest trailer they can talk you into. Look at the numbers on your truck...if they say 10k - that's your number. Period.
I was with my bud a few weeks ago when...
I believe many of the manufacturers use common parts...like the people that make frames, slides, etc. You'd be surprised at how many are made in Ohio.
What we did when we wanted to look at units was to go to a couple RV shows. You get lots to look at under one roof and it doesn't take long to...
The reason I have a trailer and not a 5'er is because I need the back of my truck. I carry lots of things in there (work and camping stuff)...truck has a locking back window, so it's as secure as it can be.
My floorplan is in my sig...after 6 years I still love it. Tows like a dream in all...
Yup...good for kids, but not adults. Take your time and look over plans.
I look at it from the standpoint that if it rains, you're stuck in there...make sure you can be in there without feeling on top of each other.
The only thing that comes to mind at the moment is to make sure there is a space before the / and none after?
As long as the shortcut is valid it should work just fine. I've done it on all my puters and it works better than before.
Many of those are just goodies you don't really need and they do slow things down. You can always put them back, so have at it.
I do like the weather add on though as I work outside and need to keep an eye on things.
I've gone through those adjustments Bill posted with no ill effects so far.
I...
Thanks Bill...
I'm always up for something that'll help. Just did them so we'll see how it does. I still prefer FF over anything else....just have to watch all the add ons that bloat it out.
I wasn't sure i this was the right forum for AC, so I figured I'd go by my truck model.
I've noticed sometimes when I turn the AC off, it still seems to be running and I'm not sure if it actually does turn off. Even after shutting the engine off for a few minutes, I get in and have just the fan...
...so now all I need is a new front bumper (someone ran into me while parked), and a new windshield (took a rock from a truck on the highway)...that's my three - I should be good for a while now...
Well I feel stupid...I pulled the liner back and felt metal under the elbow - pulled it off and water came pouring out. It was a spider nest...I'm betting he wasn't real happy with his selection...
I'm gonna have to locate that little bugger...if it isn't visibly plugged, maybe I can shoot some air through it.
It's getting dark outside now, so maybe tomorrow.
I saw it dripping like mad outside on the trip up. I didn't check it again once the floor got wet, but this would be a sudden turn of events.
I'll be sure to look again. I think the inside duct has water in it now (I can hear it) and I need to evacuate it.
It's warm here now...started using the air. The air works great - frostbite will ensue if left on high...
But...a long ride home from last weekend left my flooring wet right under the ductwork by the tranny hump. I've been watching it trying to figure it out.
Please don't tell me it's some...
