You can kinda see mine in this pic. They are 2"x3" tube with heim joints. They aren't real pretty but thet sure shouldn't brake. I pulled the joints off an army truck and the tube probably cost me under $75.
Here's one of Dads.
I'd avoid alluminum if you ever plan to pull it around the ranch or farm. They don't last out here without frequent trips to the welding shop :frown5:.
Maybe some do but FeatherLites sure don't.
I like my EFI Live a lot.The tow tune I run is about 75-100hp over stock and real smooth. I also have a real smooth tune that makes almost 600rwhp with a BD Supermax. The old VA's were fun and easy but mine gave me issues at the end. The guy I sold it to was trying to sell it a while back but...
I've been telling him he needs a D-Max. First the rear end went out, then the auto trans,{just from towing} and now this.
I'll have him unload the Bully Dog and see what happens. He's not driving it but he needs it to tow his equipment to the field.
My buddys 04 Cummins started rattleing really bad a couple weeks ago and he took it to a private mechanic and first they told him the rods were messed up but now they are saying 2 bad cylinders. Wording it that way sounds dumb IMO. So i'm guessing they don't know what the heck.
Anyway what...
If I had used 2nd gen mounts it would have helped. For $250 I figured pre-made mounts would save some time. Those are very simple looking,be easy to make with a CNC cutter or regular Plasma cutter.
I have a 94 12V sitting in our shop but the selenion is gone :incazzato:. Get yourself some pre-fab'd mounts and things will go a lot faster. We spent way too long making a crossmember. CrewCab59 over on DP sells them.
Well I was in there today and they said they were going to try to get me a 750 V2 Diesel so we'll see. I hope they can pull that off for me but time will tell.
Cause the freaking Honda dealer is 80 miles away one way and 120 miles the other. Not that they need service but it's nice to have filters and wheel bearings handy.
The Arctic Cat dealer is 35mi away but at this point it's not worth jack $h!t to have them close.
Evidently you didn't have an 98-04 Foreman cause they will take whatever you can dish out ):h. The Polaris my uncle had was just as bad as this Arctic Cat,but he traded it off immediately after it started giving him issues.
I have 5,000mi on it. That would be a $2500 loss which I don't really want. i'm prepared to take a $1500-$2000 trading it but beyond that I don't want to. It books at $4800-$5200 and I paid $6800.
