Hate to post a stupid thread (Heater core lines)

I believe I figured it out. I checked the part number on my lower hose and it's match for the 6.5 lower hose with 1 T. Either I messed up or the parts guy did. I just ordered a for sure Dmax lower hose with 2 Ts on it.

Hate to post a stupid thread (Heater core lines)

Inwas trying to run the lines like factory duramax routing to eliminate issues of replacing hoses down the line. I do have the 5/8 hole in the t stat housing. I also did find the original egr feeder tube toady with the o ring seal. I understand the tstat steel line feeds the heater core. And...

Hate to post a stupid thread (Heater core lines)

The only nipple I have is at the very top of the radiator on the passenger side directly above the Trans cooler lines. And I also have 1 line that T off the lower radiator hose.

Hate to post a stupid thread (Heater core lines)

like the title says I really didn't want to post this thread. But I'm having issues with my 02 lb7. I tore the truck apart 3 years ago and seem to have lost a couple coolant/heater lines. I did an egr delete. And can't figure out how the hell the lines are ran. I have the single hard line coming...

    Lb7 dead pedal.

I guess I gotta look up the Diagram. My lb7 was a Cali smog but I eliminated the egr and put werhli bridge pipe. So I guess I lost the 5/8 tube somewhere

    Lb7 dead pedal.

Hey ferm. How are your heater lines ran? I have all my hoses by I think I'm missing something somewhere

    Lb7 dead pedal.

Hahaha that sounds like it will end up like my old 6.5 did lol. 2 throu the pan and 1 throu the slower skirt of the block. When I get the meth in for sure I'll post

    Lb7 dead pedal.

Haha wait now I'm confused, are you talking about toggle switch throttle or the meth and propane mod

    Lb7 dead pedal.

Hahahah!!! If I had the money to build an engine and just experiment how that would work I would! Hahaha. Might as well add some meth and propane to the 100% juice and have a real good time haha

    Lb7 dead pedal.

I guess I may have screwed up on the pedal wiring. On the scanner the throttle works smoothly and on the it goes to 100%. but ya the first half doesn't do anything. About a 1/4" from the stop is where it hits full throttle. I'll have to look into the wiring again. And thank you lookin forward to it

    Lb7 dead pedal.

I aslo wired it up for the 6.5 pedal as well! Although with the 6.5 pedal I don't have throttle till about half way but it works so I'm happy

    Lb7 dead pedal.

Thank you sir!! The pedal wires were not wired correctly on the engine harness. I now have throttle! But injector circuit codes for injector 2-8 now pop up. Eff my life. Haha you ferm!! You have been a major help for many years now!!

    Lb7 dead pedal.

Ya if you don't mind that would be great! Just so I can verify the ecm wiring too

    Lb7 dead pedal.

I'm using the duramax pedal. The harness was built for the duramax pedal as well. Eventually once the truck is done i will use the 6.5 pedal (in theory) just for ease of mounting. The guy that built the harness is being a dick and saying it's not the harness and won't work with me trying to...

    Lb7 dead pedal.

So I'm doing a lb7 duramax swap. It's basically done besides minor wiring, driveshafts and some other small things. But I had a dead pedal. P1287. P1278. P1125. P1639. I had the pedal extension harness made by a company back east and it is mirrored to the pedal connector. App sensor 1 reads...

2002 LB7 won't start. Low fuel rail pressure

I got it fired! Faulty fuel pressure release valve. All the glow plugs checked out obviously. Thanks for your help ferm I really appreciate it!!

Ok copy that!! I'll run that hopfully this week. Thanks again I appreciate it!!

2002 LB7 won't start. Low fuel rail pressure

Copy that. No with the fpr unplugged it will not start. It only gets up to 700 psi under its own cranking power. I will look into getting a fuel rate return test done. I have no idea how to run that test. One last question, is it common for fpr to get stuck in the almost closed position? Not...

2002 LB7 won't start. Low fuel rail pressure

I knew staring fluid was bad but didn't think it was that lethal. I've read on other forums of people using it in very minor amounts just to get it to kick. But thank you. I will check my glow plugs. I do have a air dog 150 lift pump and a fresh factory fuel filter. The most pressure I had in...

2002 LB7 won't start. Low fuel rail pressure

I forgot to add: when it does fire on ether the fuel rail pressure will spike. The highest it got was 1900 while "running" then drops down to about 300 when it dies. Is the fpr controlled by the Ecu? I'm wondering if my wiring has the fpr staying open if it is Ecu controlled. Or maybe just...
