CCLB:D
Had a 93 ECLB gasser. This isn't that much worse. Love the crew cab for the kids. Plus it was cheaper because everyone around here wants a CCSB. Also like the tonner because it doesn't have the ugly door mouldings.
Depending on offset and rim width, you might be able to get by w/2.5". The ones I did, I massaged:eyebrows: the fenders w/a Hammer or cut off wheel. Most were rusty IA trucks.
How big do you want to go? I have had decent luck w/add-a-leafs front and rear. I have used various kits in the 2.5-6" range. You have to be careful of rear driveshaft angles on the larger kits. There are a couple of places that offer shackle reversal systems that allow you to get 4" of lift...
Are the Danville's in the same $$ range as the Cheatah's? I PM'd Mark and haven't heard back. Not that I can afford one right now. Just trying to narrow it down when I do.
I was considering them. At the time I bought my Toyo's they didn't have the 285/17 available. They were estimating another 5-6 months. I couldn't wait that long. I had read a lot of good reviews on them. I like the pattern and heard they wore well and did decent in snow.
The power is close to what the LB7's had. I think it could be a decent base engine if the $ is right. I think they would do well to have a 1500 HD w/the Semi-Float rear and the 4.5.
I wonder how a 6.6 would do w/the reverse flow heads.
