Ok so I plugged the OS back in and unplugged the CPS it took forever to start and idles like crap but didn’t high idle

It looks like they sell rebuilt kits for them for about 150

can you not rebuild them ?

UPDATE UPDATE . I got the new PMD today installed it and the truck no longer surges or sounds like it has a cam but it still high revs to exactly 2400 RPM. I can unplug the optical sensor and it idles down to 1000 RPM but anytime I press the accelerator and the rpms go up it still seems to...

It’s been moved to an external but I ordered a new one last night. Should be here Sunday. I ordered a whole new relocation kit just so everything will be new

So I cleared codes and cleaned the grounds and when I went back to check it just keeps flashing 12 and that’s it but it is still idleing at 2200 RPM on startup and stays there rock solid and when I put it in gear it starts surging and the rpms go way down then back up almost sounds like a cam in...

I looked them up online and they are all over the place .. how do you clear them just disconnect ?

So the noise filter is still in line with the optic sensor and I did plug it back in and I just bought this truck was only 900 figured I’d give it a shot.

So I checked the codes since I have no patience and it is throwing 24 different codes …

Update : I disconnected the CPS, found it running up the block kinda right behind the tensioner and it wouldn’t start at all
