Yeah I don't know to be honest. I know you have a much higher volume of fuel than I do for starters. Heath said the tune puts out 80cc - as much as a DS4 will support. So seeing as you are approaching 200% of what I have, that's definitely something to consider. Part of my numbers are also due...
FWIW, and obviously my setup is way more pedestrian than yours.. my peak HP on the dyno was something like 2600-2800 IIRC. Peak torque was 2400. That was on a Dynojet. So based on that, I would say there's probably no real reason to start the pull lower than 2000. Its not like its a Cummins that...
Between what the dyno tells you, and what you calculated based on your trap speed and ET, you should be able to get a pretty accurate idea as to the power you're putting down.
I'll throw in a guess... 337/546.
The pre-lift pump filter will have a water drain valve. I have the filter and base, however it will not be installed until the tank sump in the spring.

Good discussion guys. Looks like I have some reading to do, Nate! Never a bad thing.
Anyway, got another little thing done on the truck a couple weeks ago that I can post about.
One thing I think we all know is that in order to get any sort of noticeable power increase from a "big" mod such...
I just refer to it as an HX40, it's kinda a weird unit... Non-gated 16cm housing makes me think it's part H1C. It works good for my setup, wouldn't be too good with a stick though.

Update.. have put roughly 3k miles on the HX40 now, and have really gotten to know the turbo. In short: I love it. I am seeing an easy 0-13psi around town not hammering on it, 3-5psi on the highway, and 22psi on a shift if I hammer on it. EGT's stay in check, have to really work it to get over...
I got 18 and change on a cruise-only trip to Cape Cod a few weeks ago. 70 on mainland and 55 on Cape. I had gotten 23 last year with my HX35. I think the 23 was a fluke though. I'm not sure how I managed it. I would think with your gearing you would get 20+

I still have the 3 bar MAP. I do not think the tunes were configured for it. I tried my 2 bar with both tunes and saw little noticeable difference.

I actually spent more time talking with Kojo than I did with Heath. I never even spoke to Bill, just one of the guys that worked there. Pretty much asked for the same thing: a hot tune for a street driven truck. As much juice as they could give it without blowing something up. Perhaps Kojo was a...
Yes, I ran the Kojo tune for a period of time. Shifts were not as firm as the Heath tune, and tcc lockup came on a little early for my liking. Timing curve was slightly less aggressive. The Heath tune ran it pretty well but it gets along better with the HX.
