Raptor in/out fitting size for install in a 6.5????

My pump came without fittings?? I noticed in the on line RAPTOR manual they come with what looks to be some type of -16 AN fitting. Still doesn't help with what the thread is in the side of the pump LOL. Its not like i have a bunch of fittings to try and see which one fits. i have to order these...

    FRC10 or Raptor

I almost bought the frb5. I ended up going with the Rator 150gpm pump and just got it in the mail so its not installed yet. Removed non supporting vendor link to Extreme Diesel I had heard a couple complaints on the frb5 doing research and found no complaints about the raptor so i went with the...

Fuel issues: Hiccups and stalls - air bubbles

Some things to consider. After doing my FTB mod i had found several leaks after crawling around under the truck. The nut on the fuel heater element has a rubber seal that can go bad or the nut may be loose. In my case it was just loose after the R&R so i tightened and it stopped. The other leak...

    6.5 RPM's and throttle erratic

At one time someone from GM who was an ETA guy mentioned that the majority of IP's removed and sent back for testing were fine. Of course that was years ago. Now Humberview Trucks cracks the pumps when they take them off with a sledge hammer so they can never be rebuilt or even tested!! Once the...

    6.5 RPM's and throttle erratic

We see these codes in the Hummer world as 1216 1217. Couple of thoughts. The dealer when seeing these will try to sell you a new IP. What is happening is the poppet on the rear of the injection pump or fuel solenoid is likely sticking due to the internals being a bit crudded up or corroded...

Selling if I cannot find out whats wrong

Sounds to me like your boost fooler is out of range. Surprised you don't have a code or 2 to report. Remove the boost fooler setup back to stock and start from there.

2000 chevyk3500 6.5l turbo diesel. Going through alternators every month..HELP

I have found some battery cables look great on the outside but inside they are green dust and will not conduct current effectively. My friends burb went through 3 before he replaced all the cables with a big 3 upgrade and that fixed it for good. The big black negative was dust!! Thing is it rang...

    I´am loosing my cruise

The revving sounds like a PMD issue. For some time now i have been trying to draw a parrellel between lower battery voltage and PMD brown outs within the logic circuit and or insuffiecient amperage to drive the fuel solenoid. It would apprear that a lot of time this happens is when you first...

    Not a girdle for a 6.5,

I think it would be better if formed out of a special moly concrete like a dip mold.

    Keep an eye open

I have not seen the article yet but i have enjoyed reading the comments here. I am a huge 6.5 fan. These days you can create your own aftermarket companies if the ones out there are not filling the niche. Folks on here could do well to start a number of operations regarding 6.5 custom stuff...

    Thanks FTB guys!!

Oh and i cut the screens out of the secondary nylon filter inside the FM. I use a filter in the viewer upstream with better flow. Also in the pic is the old IP fitting I will throw a few pics of my ride in for good measure

    Thanks FTB guys!!

Turbine Doc and others had posted info on this and i had found a link for it online which got me here, and signed up. That was a month ago or something. Since, i have completed the FTB mod on my truck. I have a stock TD. My truck had a few slight differences but the basics of the mod were the...

    no start/ no fuel

I went through the same thing but for me it was air getting in from 2 spots at the fuel heater gasket (my fasult didn't put it tight enough) and the fuel drain hose had a hairline crack at the clamp. Everything on top looked great so i didn't find the issue till i got underneath. If the rat...
