I think you are refering to the optical bump. after removing the cover on the IP you will see the sensor. T40 torx i think it is. You want to move the plate 1mm towards the passenger side of the truck. If it runs harsh and smoky you went too far. You want to be just slightly advanced for the...
It appears to me that if you have fluid pouring out you will have running issues. In one pic you are pointing to the return line coming off the injectors. If fuel is coming out there it will not run. Fix the leak and start the truck!! Probably why it stalled on the highway in the first place...
In my case i used hose barb push on connectors for everything but i had to adapt to the stock hardline fitting. I was not able to find the right one at several stores so i cut the female side off an old fuel pump tapped for the barb fitting and run a short hose to the input of my Raptor/PWM...
The fact that you have so many codes popping seems to indicate a bad ground or a whole power buss is out. Fuse??? The same ground feeds and references all sensors in that path. In that regard pick the lowest code and address that and likely the other higher codes will disappear being they are on...
I live in Toronto Canada and i do the test every 2 years. I have never failed but i came close when my turbo had leaks in the accordian tubes several years back.I just squeaked by. I have since fixed all that and more. My last test was the best ever 0,0,0. I have to go again this year in July...
Update: Just went over the 4kmiles mark on this setup. Very pleased and so far it has outlasted the last 4 pumps. Truck runs so much better as a bonus.
Of course different terrain but the South Bend HMMVW Test track and outfield were the biggest grades i have done and on mud to boot. As well i had no low range so the 6.5 was stressing just a little. My wife enjoyed takin the vid, LOL

My 97 has not failed yet. It came close in 2008 when my center mount turbo had leaking tubes. Still barely passed. My last test was 0,0,0. Then again i took it on a nice highway run up to 90 mph a couple times and then let it fast idle for another 20 minutes then i drove to the test place and...
Hey guys, Happy Holidays.
I am wondering what the current draw is on the fuel heater element inside the FM. I want to devise a relay and transformer to run this on my block heater curcuit so i can keep the fuel warm inside the filter while the truck is shut down in the cold winter. Involves a...
x2 on the bad ground!! A stiff IP can kill them as well from overloaded solenoid switching current. I am also pump mounted. Maybe we are on to something LOL
There is also the last ditch screen in the IP fitting!! how many flters do you need?? I have a tank sock, mesh pre filter in the raptor fuel pump, fuel filter in the FM, Glass viewer filter and IP inlet filter. A bit overkill IMO
