What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

Finally got it all back together and running again. Started tearing it down in November to change valve covers because they were leaking so bad. Took me until last weekend to get everything back together and running.

    2004 Yukon XL 2500 LBZ

Duncan’s just about a hour north of me. I work all around that area and we have done a crap ton of work at the BMW plant there over the years. Where are you getting your trailer from? We had to go to Georgia a couple weeks ago to get a trailer for the company because nobody around here had any...

    6.5L 9 blade fans

If he don’t want them both, I’ll take one from you Ak. I have been wanting another one so I don’t have to keep swapping fans over when I’m changing out fan clutches every time I haul around the tractor or mini excavator.

1994 6.5 turbo diesel has fuel running out of the hole in the inspection cover

Look in the engine valley with a flashlight for fuel puddled there. At the back right hand side of the valley is the valley drain hole and a lot of these engines have a tube that goes down and makes whatever is leaking in the valley come out of the inspection cover like what your seeing. Since...

Undercoating Deck with Slip Plate - Yea or Nea?

Have you tried high lift blades? From the reading that I have done on this subject it sounds like most lawnmowers come with low lift blades from the factory. I bought a set of high lift blades for my Kubota and it did help when I cut grass in the mornings to not clump up as bad leaving the...

    AC parts

I hope it don’t turn into that down here. Ive been going to Johnstone for the past 17 years because they are the best to do business with out of all the commercial/ Industrial HVAC houses around here. Cheaper for the same material to.

    AC parts

If you want to buy a good vacuum pump that isn’t crazy high $ I would go to a HVAC parts house and get a Robinair vacuum pump. For a little over 100$ (Last I bought some) you can get a micron gauge there to. I’m not a vehicle A/C pro by no means but this is what I have always done. Anytime I...

    Educate Me on Thermostats

When I looked into the spin on AC Delco water pump that Heath was suggesting it was the 200$ pump on Rock Auto. Rock Auto has had a couple different AC Delco pumps on their site but I have always figured the 200$ pump was the original pump that came on our trucks.

6.5 stuttering from stand still. Smooth otherwise

The reason he brought up the tank sock is because there is a difference between the gas and diesel ones. Most 6.5 owners that replace their tank sock replaced it with a gas sock not realizing there is a difference. The diesel sock has a bypass built into it.

    Educate Me on Thermostats

@MrMarty51 what I did is when I bought my new Hayden fan clutch last year I modded my old one to where it’s locked on full time. During the winter and most of the summer I would run the new Hayden. If i was hauling the tractor around or anything that was heavy like that I would just swap to my...

Opinions needed - Performed Optical Bump

I don’t normally jump into stuff like this but I just couldn’t help it. This whole thing has been nuts since @royunion jumped in. And to have someone tell you what they are using for a lift pump like it’s the greatest thing on the market but don’t offer to show it after being asked multiple...

@royunion after you posted about the sure cure lift pump I had to look it up. https://www.amer-grp.com/Sure_Cure_GM_6_5_Lift_Pump_Solution_Kit And the way that website is wrote out sounds pretty much like the way you have been sounding on here. And with every post it sounds more and more like...

    Educate Me on Thermostats

We came to Edisto Beech in South Carolina. Its my daddy’s side of the family and there is 15 of us. We have enjoyed the beech but me and my uncle and 3 cousins have been enjoying the fishing to. We have been fishing 32 miles off shore on a man made reef. The fishing has been excellent. We were...
