In your backyard at the factory! Call sales if you want a local dealer. I purchased mine from Jegs because when a 6.2/6.5 busts a starter WARRANTY was critical to my purchase decision. Jegs did warranty one for me when the bad injectors broke the overrun clutch in it. I do not trust Amazon to be...
Understandably you have a habit on not sharing details on how you arrived to select some things unless asked.
I trust you spent a lot of time on the Torque Converter Line item? Aka Worked out engine build power details and stall speed with them.
The lockup clutch in the OEM converter can...
Be Frugal NOT CHEAP!!!
Plenty of cheap garbage parts out there: Knock-offs, wore out painted scrap sold as reman, bent, not rebuilt correctly... So be careful and best to ask on here first esp. for fuel injection parts.
What is the condition of the body and interior? What would it cost to go...
Exactly this!!! There is only one "timer" on a DB2 and that's the cold start advance and high idle switch that's engine temperature controlled. It goes open on a hot engine. 10 min is about right.
I bet they have the cold advance and run solenoid wires reversed. Off the top of my head it's pink...
I did not know this. Maybe you tow enough to make a diesel break even.
I 100% agree on the expense of two vehicles. However we just went through that question with a FN LEMON that Won't Run and Drive, chokes to death on it's own hot underhood air still, and obtained another vehicle.
I do...
Like old Patch ... you are working on THIS old worn out pickup past the point of ridiculousness. Except Patch wasn't a rust bucket. (It's too late and expensive to move to Phoenix, AZ now due to extreme housing costs.)
Some parts, even with a lifetime warranty, are just wore out, bent, or unfit...

Charge by weight and here is the equivalent weight chart to convert from R143A to the weight of the ES you need to use.
FULL STOP!!!
The high pressure switch needs to be added to the 1993's. It goes on the compressor. There is a slug in the compressor now held in by a snap ring where the switch goes: of course only install when there isn't any refrigerant or pressure in the system.
Learned the hard way the...
I have used Fel-Pro in the past.

Nice build.
Couple of suggestions/comments about it:
You need to "finish" the intake and feed those turbo's some COLD AIR! The hot underhood air intake for em, well, you may as well throw one turbo away because compressing hot vs. cold intake air is wasting a turbo. It's all fun watching fluid...
I ran a cracked block without touching the main bolts. The cracks just got worse. I won the gamble as "something else" took out the engine.
The cracks were not as long as the one you have now. I wouldn't even run that one myself. Just not worth the bother of an engine swap for a crack that...
With the aerodynamic mess GM made with our bodystyle and already poor cooling stack airflow ... Is there any good airflow to be had in the skid plate area that doesn't mess with the stack airflow or allow it to recurculate hot air through that area?
FWIW RAM Cummins already uses an approach...
Remind me why I can't get Diesel without 5% bio mixed in again in my state of AZ? Even off road red dye from the fuel distributor in 55 Gal drums has 5% Biodiesel in it.
Well it's getting hot out. So all the neglect of cooling systems, batteries, tire pressure is showing up with the summer heat and A/C use. Two major vehicle fires I know of happened in our area already. Only because friends sent me pictures of the vehicle Bar-B-Q's.
Nothing unusual here...
I am running XPS on my 5th wheel RV. My RV made the new Good Year Endurance ST tires cry "Uncle!" in less than a year. After good service life, 7 years, from normal Michelin LT's. The XPS RIB have the usual Michelin sidewall cracking is starting on them now. Maybe some other brands have less...
