@93detroit So that video was a chinese KO HX35? any other mods to the engine? how well does it spool at lower RPM's or running around town? I'm sure it doesn't choke up like the GMx does. just curious on how it performs on the low end between the stock GMx and say an ATT where the ATT...
Picked up a pair of refurbished batteries as a place a couple friends recommended. Cost me $65 ea with a 3 month warranty, better than what I had expected. Both are top post so now I finally get to convert from the factory side post cables it has now. Gonna do that later today so I can start...
Went out this morning after leaving the 95 sit for the last 4 days. Tried staring it up, I’ve never had so much trouble getting it to run! Battery was still up but had to put the booster on and it took probably 10 sessions of running the GP’s and cranking to finally get it to fire!! Each...
I second a wiring issue. see if you can find a schematic on your rig and check all wires and connections in and around the area you were working at. I found this tidbit on the web on this code.

Note, when you go to swap or pull injectors from the rail, have a towel there to cover the holes in the intake port, fuel will come pouring out and some will go into the hole. this will possibly give you a false result when you first start it back up if you don't run it or drive enough to burn...
try swapping the injectors around and see if it follows. while your at it, when you pull the fuel rail up, make sure all the injectors are still locked in the fuel rail and then pressure up the rail by running the fuel pump. check to see if #6 gets wet when fuel pressure is applied. it...
I've never used a temp fooler. Not sure if that would help or hurt anything when setting the timing as to the engine thinking it's getting a "hot" burn in the cylinders when it might not be. I'm sure others would know more on that than I.
do you have access to a tech2, not sure how close you...
True, thinking about it that way, yes our 6.5's don't really have a pressure regulator, they all use the fuel pump, 99% of all gassers fuel pumps will push well into 90+ psi if they are deadheaded where ours is constantly pushing it's max where the demands of the engine exceed what it can...
Be careful with RA and GM parts. afaik they are not an authorized GM/Delco seller. iirc @Will L. will have lots to say on this matter! if #6 is giving solid issues, you might dry swapping it for another cylinder and see if the problem follows. if not, then do the same with the ignition...
Here is some reading on the KOKO procedure. hope this will help.

it can, but without the scanner to set the 3.5 degrees actual injection timing it makes it hard to get it right. if you have something that will read the actual timing, I would say try the method without the scanner first and see where it lands. iirc it's a sequence that involves the key...
I will have to watch these vids after work.
One thing that GM never provided in their books nor could I find ant reference of online is the internal schematic or digital blueprint of the PMD it's self. I would love to find more info on the internals and components, just never found anyone...
If you don't mind @royunion please share your repairs done on PMD's, you can do this in another thread if you want to keep this one from getting derailed off it's tracks! I was messing with them and came up with an idea I wanted to test that would have the transistors remote mounted away...
the bad part is the high pressure fittings on McMaster/Carr are only rated up to around 3000psi. iirc that tester can go up to 5000 or 8000 psi.
also look at the threads on the gauge and see if they are a taper (BSPT) or straight (BSPP) there is a difference. if it's 1/8" or 1/4" the BSPT...
at least hopefully I can park in the driveway without leaving a mark LOL. I had noticed it was leaking from the drain for a couple of weeks, then the valve I had on there fell off! was a cheap plastic irrigation valve. everywhere I went I was leaving it's "mark" Ol' Smokey was here! LOL.
well, got the ball valve installed on the 93 for the provent drain. I also wanted to figure a way to keep road grime from getting into the end of the hose. my previous drain setup had a soda bottle ziptied to the frame where I had drilled a hole in the cap and made it a tight fit on the hose...
What size NPT thread is it closest to? I might be able to look online and see if I can figure out what thread adapter you need. I also have access to two hydraulic vendors through my work that can get the adapter.
Here is a link to some of these adapters...
