    P400 heads

Also- if anyone has optimizer heads that have no cracks between the valves I am interested. I don’t care about the valves, valve springs. Boyce Equipment stopped selling take off heads long time ago. If anyone knows anyplace that sells them, please let me know.

What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

Man- I would send the Chinese water pump back for one at a brick & mortar authorized Delco retailer store like napa. That sure sounds like a problem of a CKO to me. Not critical but I didn’t paint my gep heads where all the bare metal is and they looked horrible not much later. I suggest some...

    LT1 94 3500 dually

Many start then abandon the process. The value of the truck drops and this is a costly process. If you do it -has to be because the truck has special meaning and you are fed up with diesels. Even at that not legal to do in some areas- check with your DMV before beginning. Here is your...

New to me donor 6.2L engine

Are you 100% it was exhaust gasses not crusty rusty coolant steaming off from it heat up? What you do is a leak down test. Out here parts stores (Oriellys, autozone, etc) that do the ‘free’ rental where you pay for the tool then return it for $ back- rent out the leak down tester. The...

    New and random stalling issue

Having a trapped bubble in the clear line is ok. What is the problem is a trail of bubbles be it intermittent or constant. Getting a bubble that appears and doesn’t travel is normal.

    New and random stalling issue

They are safe to use. It used to be buying one, the fill/bleeder valve to fill the top of the line with its oil (baby oil often) and buy the mechanical gauge was far cheaper and more reliable than the electric gauge and a sensor. Times have changed- I ent from recommending them to not...

Lift pump not getting power!! Please help I’m stuck in a parking lot

Imo buy the relay kit with the switch from Leroy. Not expensive and easy install. The switch is great for every time you replace the filter and for situations such as this.https://leroydiesel.com/products/263/ Be careful listening to me- I will have you upgrading the whole rig. You need a...

Lift pump not getting power!! Please help I’m stuck in a parking lot

Turning the key multiple times was just because it is fast diagnosing at the moment. Long term- yes a switch to bypass is the way to go. But so is putting is a real lift pump. But in his current situation - need to find out what all is an issue. @Diyeli You ABSOLUTELY have to fix the leak...

Lift pump not getting power!! Please help I’m stuck in a parking lot

I highly doubt your problem is just a lift pump. As mentioned the injection pump can suck past a dead lift pump by design. crack open the bleeder screw at the fuel filter and cycle the key a few times to see if you are getting fuel up to the filter via the lift pump. What injection pump do...

Bypass leaking AC Condenser with tubes.

@Glagulator great researching find! Your google-fu is well practiced! @Vlad_p01 the link he found shows half of it is a condensor, the other half is an oil cooler. Order that puppy, but still be VERY THOROUGH to examine the rest of the oil lines between it and the engine. Replace anything in...

Bypass leaking AC Condenser with tubes.

Yes. When when i get a chance I will post pics of the fittings. Original all steel, one of mine was damaged in the engine swap back in 2004 so I found a bronze one and been running it. The problem with buying hmmwv hoses is they are proper length for a hmmwv and it’s radiator stack which...

Bypass leaking AC Condenser with tubes.

. Idk. Length might not be right, and adapter to the oil cooler would be needed. On my 6.5 pickups, when I changed my hoses, I swapped out the gm crap fittings at the block, bought a better cooler, had the hoses made at the hydraulic shop. So I did. Leroy sells better hoses than stock and...

I think (could be wrong) the part on the 90° can be removed and installed into the block. Just swap these two:

Bypass leaking AC Condenser with tubes.

I don’t think you are looking at an ac condensor. I think it is an oil cooler. I think your inexperience has you assuming it is a condenser because many people know what that is but are unfamiliar with full size oil coolers. On 6.2 /6.5 pickups gm used a small (too small imo) oil cooler. On...
