well it gives the suburban a great look. I would love to have a 2-3" lift, but I dont want to put huge tires on this suburban. I had 35 by 12s on my other one and i dont want to drive a truck like that anymore
did you have to do the 3" lift to fit the tires? also, how is the speedometer? I know my 1990 suburban with 35's screwed the speedometer all up. also, with those tires, what mileage do you get?
it is a good idea to stay away from maaco, but if you plan on walking into any LEGIT bodyshop for an overall on a pickup, your gonna be spending $5000+ on the project. Just remember, in the painting world, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. If the guy down the street with no spray booth says $1500, your...
It is a 4x4, and I know that both front and rear need to be switched. From what Ive been reading is that it seems that most people say to just deal with it because its huge money. Will 3.73 be more in the middle? Give me a little bit better mileage and in the long shot I need to tow(which I have...
Ok, my suburban in my sig has 4.10s. But I dont do one bit of towing/hauling and I dont plan to. I didnt buy it for that purpose. If I ever did tow anything it would be a camping trailer or a motorcycle, nothing big and not a far distance.
So with these gears, Im at 2 grand going about 58mph...
I know its a whole different truck but the people wanted $7500 for my suburban which I thought was high and they took $6500 which I found reasonable. But this truck could be a gem, I dont know.
Well, I guess the only thing to do is wait for someone to actually buy one and install it.
It sounds awesome, but adding atleast 5mpg while adding 25 horsepower?
alright, thanks for all the help guys. Since no one has mentioned it, I guess it seems that this could just be a small problem and that my transmission isnt just going to let go any time soon?
edit: I dont have a manual but from searching it seems that just draining the fluid from the pan...
I know this isnt the tranny section but I know this will get seen more here but move if necessary.
My 1997 Burb just started getting a hard shift just from first to second. If I get off the pedal and go real easy it doesnt shift as hard, but during normal driving it shifts hard. It hasnt done...
Thats cool, Im new to the 6.5s and of course my suburban has air holes and from reading and looking at trucks I thought all the diesels did.
The truck is nice, hauls the trailer with the mower and all equipment in it, dumb body.
