We have two 2020 chevrolet 2500 crew cab 4x4 work trucks at my job. One is the new gasser and the other is a duramax. The duramax drove nice. I put about 100 miles on it. Even pulled a trailer with a skid steer on it. It pulled it like I would expect it too. For a work truck it had a lot...
HMMWV Winch that mounts on the front. Brand new, never been used/installed.
This is a hydraulic winch with a solenoid that runs on 24vdc.
It has everything you need to mount to the front of a HMMWV.
Made by Mile Marker S# 9S000560-D. They go for $2,999 plus on ebay.
I laid out all the parts...

The purple wire was lose on the starter. Tightened it up and it fixed the problem.
My truck is a standard transmission. It has no relay under the hood.
I am just glad to finally fix the issue. This one has been giving me grief for over 30 days!
I have a power probe. I hooked it up to the purple wire and gave it a hit of 12v.
That should have activated the starter. It did not! i feel the purple wire is broke, someplace.
I am going to run the truck to a buddies house tomorrow and see what the problem is.
Had a buddy look up a wiring diagram for me on this truck.
Clutch start switch has two wires, yellow and purple.
Purple goes from clutch to starter solenoid.
yellow goes from ignition switch to clutch switch.
Turn on key it puts 12V to yellow wire.
Which if clutch is pushed in puts 12V to purple...
I went and bypassed the clutch switch. Still no start.
Yes, that hooks directly to the starter. I just turn the key on and use that as a starting mechanism.
No, I am here by my self. Have no way to do that.
I have no relay for the starter under the hood, at-least not in the fuse panel.
Can someone guide me to where this relay is?
It will start with a starter switch connected externally.
Any other ideas?
Truck will not start.
It started intermittently and at the moment will not start at all.
The starter will not spin.
I replaced the battery cable that runs from the starter to the battery.
Still nothing.
Is there a way to bypass the ignition switch to the starter?
Anybody have any other ideas...
