    Me again, new problem

I had to stare at the gauges for a while... Didn't believe them. Seriously thought changing the filter was a waste of time Going to book it in for a TDCO tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who contributed to my issues in this thread. Couldn't have done this without you guys.

    Me again, new problem

Ok gentlemen, I'm going to try a new filter today, crossing my fingers... Pulled the oil line off the turbo, no change. I'll check the oil cooler lines while under there, I doubt they're the issue though. Once I pull the pan and notice no obvious problems, it's there a way a can verify...

    Me again, new problem

Oil cooler lines are from Leroydiesel.com also, doubt they're the problem. Braided are tough to kink, any way I'll still check them. Gauge was put on the end of the extension hose that is in where the ops normally is. I can get a picture after work, if I remember. Where exactly is this...

    Me again, new problem

Ok, Checked fuses, one blown for interior lights. Not related I'm sure Swapped out my ops with a spare, still 0 psi. Put a mechanical gauge on, still 0 psi. (Sooo glad I bought that ops extension from Leroydiesel.com) My guess is now, I need to pull the front diff and oil pan again...

    Me again, new problem

I dropped the pan, thinking the leak was there. Cleaned it right out. Dropped the oil and coolant. Changed them both. Coolant looked a little rusty. It sounds great, not as loud as before, but I'm sure it will return after I do the TDCO. I'm going to switch the OPS with a spare, get a manual...

    Me again, new problem

The oil leak was pretty bad, leaking a quart in 250 miles. It's a mess underneath, oil everywhere. Had me pretty concerned

    Me again, new problem

I'm guessing it had to have been like that for a while. Could've been weeks or months maybe even years. The way it wore on the cover to me indicates it was loose. Really only wearing on one side, the return side of the chain not the driving side... And it appears that only the inside half of the...

    Me again, new problem

Well... Long story short, Had a fairly bad engine oil leak, couldn't find it, somewhere in the front. Figured it was the pan, dropped it and the front diff. Found the pieces in it, had a small stroke... Cleaned it out, resealed it & bolted it back on. Ironically, the break in the chain was at...

    Me again, new problem

I marked the top of the IP and cover with a punch in a feeble attempt to keep the offset close all the while knowing it would need to be redone. Especially since I have to replace the cover, which I found for $75 at a local wrecker. I ordered new sprockets they're not going to be here till next...

    Me again, new problem

Maybe when you guys get one. By the time I pay exchange, GST, duty and freight, it is easier for me to get a rebuilt from a local engine builder

    Me again, new problem

I know what you mean, I'm getting awful good at tearing down a 6.5. And Have a few "well used" 13mm & 15mm sockets. I appreciate all your help Will. Btw, I have a set of 4 genuine gm '98 c/k truck + diesel repair manuals, and what your sent me is waaaaay better...

    Me again, new problem

Minor rebuild? I don't follow... Hey, you would know. I found a parts engine, ds4 out of an H1. Unknown date code. Will the timing cover be the same?
