Somewhat easier.. as the oil filter is up top, so you don't have take the old one off and catch the oil falling out, with the one on top just wrap shop towel around it and trash it. I wouldn't say much difference. The fuel filters are 100% easier though as they are on the frame rail and prime...
My father has a 16 2500HD D/A LTZ.. I can't say I've noticed a ton of play in his steering, but I can't say I was looking for it either... but if it doesn't feel normal, it's probably not.
Did my first (own) oil change last week. $30 in oil (Walmart sale) for 6 qts, $11 AcDelco Filter.. Easy as the the oil filter is on top in a canister style housing.
The fuel filters (2) are on the frame rail and is driven by an electric lift pump.. so once you swap them priming is easy. Filters...
3K each. Technically, the ones from Walmart and Amazon would be *better*, but who knows.
I'd spend $150 easily on set as long as I knew it would hold a 2500HD diesel and not break.

But, I don't have the place or the budget for that. So, if anyone has any good recommendations I'm all in. I've noticed a lot of folks built their own with wood, but I want something I can fold and store easily.
I didn't say I was going to spent $40 a call it a day. You guys are preaching to me here..
No luck so far.. walmart had a 12K set today that was $40 as well. Seems to be all priced like that. Not sure what the next step up in quality is.
