The idea is to block airflow to the wastegate, keeping it shut longer, thus creating more boost. However, most stock wastegates are more than the 6.5L can handle anyways without big mods. I never hooked my boost line to my wastegate on my HX40 60/74/14 and drive pressure alone overcomes spring...
I honestly don't pay attention to how many miles I get out of them. Like I said, I'm really hard on clutches. Lot of street racing and hard launches on stock clutch with modified engine. Doesn't mix well
If you consider a small nozzle the 60ml/min. I think I did the math wrong, but with 15 gallons at 50% injection on a 60ml/min nozzle at 60mph, I'm going to guess 1890 miles lol I never was super good at math and things though lol
Depends on what percentage you are injecting at and tank size. Mine just cruising would bounce between 0-50%. I ran a 375 and 625ml/min nozzle, or a liter a minute at full injection. With a 2.5 gallon tank and liter to gallon conversion and 50% injection, under perfect world conditions, it would...
I refuse to use a needle bearing. Never had good results with them. Piles of crap. Everything else looked alright. I'm gonna replace all of it anyways. I will look into some other clutches.
Well, Leroy confirmed it today. I am moving forward with the P400. It should be here sometime first half of June. Nothing too exciting outside the standard build I had. The base P400 already took care of most of what I was going to do to the engine anyways. Some people are looking into injectors...
I've talked to Leroy and already taken that into account on the amount of the loan. We are currently looking into weather it will clear with my crossover. I think we will be ok. Worst case scenario, we have to remake a bit of it and drop it lower
Having common sense is a tricky thing lol The hardest part is considering every scenario before jumping into anything. I figured I don't have a block that I consider useable, and a Teds take out will run me $3500, plus another $1000 for a rebuild and girdle and everything, and thats IF the mains...
Waking up and wanting to rather hang yourself than go to work is a large reason I left my old job. I always try to find things Im happy in. Being miserable aint my thing lol
Well, talked with the loan people today and confirmed it, looks like I am tracking towards a P400. I've already spoken to Leroy about it. The monthly payments aren't that bad and we can afford it now. Talking the fiance into it was the hardest part but she is supportive of me. So good things...
Welp, it's official. I've made my decision. Im going to talk to the loan officer tomorrow, but thankfully from my student loans (Bachelors in Biology and Analytical Chemistry, yet I work at an RV dealership lol terrible life choices lol) I have awesome credit. So I am going to talk to a loan...
