Well, the crossover pipe is done, whole top of the motor is done, fuel is setup and ready to go. I'm going to hold off on the AirDog for a bit until after the motor gets all the kinks worked out of it. If something comes up after I start it, I want to be able to rule out the lift pump...
If they set there pumps to do 90cc's at 1700-1800psi, then your mechanical pump from them will probably be putting out even less fuel than rated at the injectors. I'd assume you have stock pop injectors (around 2100psi) which means the fuel volume will be less than advertised. Maybe low 80cc's...
Still making the new crossover pipe. Finding the correct flanges I want to use is time consuming, along with some special fittings I had to order for the fueling side of things. And if you never guessed, I am literally the worst human being in the world to pick up on sarcasm lol
Haha Yeah, giving them WAY to much credit. They never never came out. I had to do all the photos for it and sent it to them. I force fed them information and they still got it wrong lol
I've read decent things on the Raptor actually. I got one for my injection pump I had made and am going to give it a try. I can let you know how it does.
Mine is a 12 blade turbine. I chose it over the 10 blade for spooling reasons. I actually don't believe the 10 blade to be any superior over the 12. It may have better top end, but the way the injection pump is designed, the fueling up high just wasn't enough to warrant the extra flow from the...
Yeah, it'd have to be bought. I don't know the exact specs on the HX40wII as far as turbine size goes, but the 76/64 turbine wheel in mine, combined with a 14cm housing, spools almost perfect for me. I was lucky and managed to find a Holset 14cm wastegated housing for an HX40, but your best bet...
Looking at things, it's not super far off. Your pump is rated for about 90cc's. My 4911 was at 88cc's and with my billet HX40 60/64/14, it spools about right to 20psi, but but a larger 16 or 18cm exhaust housing and tiny compressor wheel like the HX40WII, it's not far from what I'd expect from...
So I've been working a little on our cake topper and thought you guys might enjoy. It started life as a C1500, but I think I've got it to mimic my truck pretty close. We have a cake topper of the bride dragging the groom away, and we are going to have it dragging me away from my truck. It's...
It will definitely help. This is a video I made showing my exhaust manifolds difference, but I compare it with WMI ON and OFF and you can really tell the difference.
I don't know how you have your WMI set up. My controller is set up to come on at 5psi. Unfortunately it's not really adjustable. Snow's lower budget kit actually has the longer I like instead of the electronic digital display I have. It's fully adjustable start and stop points. I put it on my...
