    Db2 rotor machining?

    Modified 6.5 Build

Yea ,well this head and rotor was only $200 brand new. 400hp is probably a bit optimistic . But I do have some pump mods that work.

    Modified 6.5 Build

Turbo is just a hx35 with a hx40 turbine. The big turbine combined with small precups should make good power from idle to 4000 rpm.

    Modified 6.5 Build

I used nickle wire,it dosent crack, but get porosity sometimes. Also preheated alittle. I probably wont weld another main crack . Took lots of filing to get the cap to fit right.

    Modified 6.5 Build

The stock pistons got shaved .040, getting custom Cometic gaskets. Using the smallest precups , combined with 311 nozzles @ at least 3000 psi pop pressure. And the little .290 pump, which should easily pump enough of fuel for 400 hp. Also planing on a center mount turbo.

    Modified 6.5 Build

Ok,now we are building a 660 block instead. Welded ports, crack, and starter hole.

    Valve stem seals?

Yea you can run with just the orings. This way the valve stems get oiled better.

    Pre combustion chamber design research

The na precups work the best for me. The low end power is way better than T or diamond cups.

    P400 in the Burb install

Well,I have experimeted, from 1600-5000. Never noticed less power at higher pressures. Plus, the engine sounds better.

    P400 in the Burb install

2250 psi is not really that high. I will be building a set here soon at 3200 psi or higher. The only downside is no hot starts,if the head and rotor are worn.
  18. 6.2 turbo

Cilinder bore size from 6.2 to 6.5

I wouldn't . The smaller clys allow the 6.2 to handle more abuse.
