Thank you, that's why I asked because it seems electronic to me also. Do you have an obdll port under drivers dash maybe by the door?

GMT 800 Brake Conversion > Silverado HD 2500

No torsion bars. Airlift builder series coilover, 3 inches coilover adjustable, 4 inches air travel. I'm still working with them, they take a lot of pressure to lift do to the weight. They are rated at around 2,000lbs, and have 30 plus adjustments soft to firm. I scaled out the front but need to...

    4L80E trans question

Maybe a stupid question but how is it controlled? All my trucks with that transmission are 97-2000 so the ecm controls the engine and transmission. So it is obdll for scanning, tuning, etc. I had a buddy that had problems with his ecm.

GMT 800 Brake Conversion > Silverado HD 2500

Thank you, and thanks to M.Kasperan whom I believe did this first brake upgrade like this. I just didn't want to ream out the spindles or modify the tierods. In Tennessee I believe there is a state law about steering modifications. I just didn't want to risk it with modified tierods.

    4L80E trans question

So which is the best option? I also have a large van, step van 1985 1 ton. Also has a 350, the motor has a bad knock because one of my ex employees drove it. Highway speeds more traffic, it just doesn't hold up to normal driving. Engine 350 Trans 400 Rear 4:10 I was thinking vortec 454/4l80e...

GMT 800 Brake Conversion > Silverado HD 2500

I've done a few of these now and I've found the easiest and best way (maybe not cheapest) is buying new moog lifetime lower control arms gmt800. They already have new bushings and ball joint, you do not have to ream anything. Gmt400 upper control arms then install kryptonite 6292 ball joints...

Brake upgrade for my 98 K3500

Thanx for the response. Is the reward it worth all the effort? When I put the disk brake rear in I didn't need to do anything but it was a dually rear with the large cylinders. Did you do anything to your master cylinder?

Brake upgrade for my 98 K3500

Hello everyone newbie here, I see it's been a while since anyone has posted about this mod. I'm looking to do this to my 99 classic k3500 dually which I've already swapped out my rear for an 02 disk brake version. I'm wondering if anyone has been happy with the swap over the years and anything...

    Hello

Hi everyone, I'm new to the site but like a lot of the threads. I own a 99 k3500 classic crew cab long bed, I've owned this truck since 2006 and love it. The truck used to be a dually but I've removed the dually rear for a sngle rear wheel 02HD gas rear end aka 14bolt 10.5 4:10 full floater...
