l'm going to need to replace my water pump. Looked for background in the reference area, but found none. From what I can tell, many plates come off. Seems to be more work than is needed to R/R a water pump. Anybody have good instructions, pictures, video?

I need to pull a fifth wheel (15,000lbs) a thousand miles. My water pump just went out. It was the stock high output type. For my purposes, will replacing with the stock variety be fine, or is there a better one out there?

Update: O'reily's sells a fan clutch holding tool (44180 p/n). But, it dose not fit the pulley. However, it makes an excellent fan clutch wrench. I used this along with a holding tool that I fabricated (basically, just a beefed up spanner wrench made out of 1/4" steel). Fan clutch came...

Jaythecpa...just read the thread you gave me. Raises more questions than answers. Doesn't the filter need to be changed? What is the process? Drain the pan, replace filter, then reuse the ATF. Trucks got a little over 100,000 miles on it.

Got a vendor for that differential cover?
