    Ok back going on this rig. Looks like a 383 with vortec heads is where we are going after keeping out eyes open all summer. Could use ideas for a cam.

    Its an updated tune from motor ops. Would data logging help or do I need to go with hp tuners or something? I feel my tranny is ok, temp never gets over 150° dragging 18k with cruise set at 65mph.

    Its was 9500ish for the cp3 kit and injectors, tack on 1000 in rails and misc lines, and the rest was labor. It's definitely not stock at all now haha.

    In the morning I will be able to load the new tune files and they will fire it up off a 5 gallon can to drive it on their lift to drop the tanks (which are full) and do my front end and tire work

    They have had all the right parts for 6 weeks now. I will admit there was some issues on wrong parts on some of my orders then their diesel tech took a 2 week vacation follwed by the shop manager taking off the following week but its getting pretty annoying.

    I have metal shavings down to the rails. The shop suspects the injectors ate metal too.
