    Emmott's Initiation

Yeah, with the angle of the splayed studs I couldn’t make the aircraft style work.

Got the safety wire drilled through the outer studs. Used an engine hoist to work from below and a rare earth magnet.

Bmi turbo for hmmwv/hummer. Has anyone seen these on pickups?

I ordered my mahle 18:1 pistons from them through eBay. Looked alright to me, but I'm not an experienced builder. Also have valve covers coming in from them, pretty hard to screw up the manufacturing of those. Their prices are cheap.

    Mail me something

Yeah they were too lazy to tick that one box. I asked and they gave some babble reply that they regularly ship to Canada with their other listings. But the price was right

    Mail me something

Hey can someone please mail me an eBay purchase? The seller won’t ship to Canada. I would have it sent to you and PayPal you to mail it to my Canadian address. Pm me thanks

Oil system: pre oiler, accumulator, etc.

The '91 handbook says pressure can drop >11 psi across the oil cooler due to cold weather viscosity. I occasionally have -40°C (-40°F) starts, so in my case I should probably tee in after the cooler. Whatever electric oil pump gets installed would need a minimum rating of 19 PSI to bypass the...

Oil system: pre oiler, accumulator, etc.

I agree it should tee into an oil cooler port because the oil supplied by the electric pump would then pass through the filter. Is a check valve needed at the the oil cooler outlet port, isn’t the only way it can backflow would be through the mechanical oil pump gears? Also, if not from the oil...

    Like this?

Oil system: pre oiler, accumulator, etc.

I'm also thinking of using an oil scavenge pump, any psi would be better than 0 psi at keyturn. Was thinking of assembling this https://www.ebay.ca/itm/313523315288 I'm considering a pump that does less than 10psi, an oil pressure switch set to 10psi and a relay. So the pump is only on when...

    New intake

@Twisted Steel Performance I understand that. I have a center turbo oil block off plate from Unique Diesel, and a peninsular intake with the idea of bolting that to a Bullet or used Marine Diesel AB Sweeden manifold with custom top plate. Banks side mount exhaust manifold. I think ford 6.4...

    New intake

That would be sweet! I'd be interested for my p400 hmmwv block. Look forward to seeing your finished installation, very innovative

    New intake

Does Bullet have a setup for 60° or does a 90° Bullet setup have to be modified?
  14. emmott

    New intake

Is the Bullet cast manifold compatible with 60° van/hmmwv heads or just 90° truck/suv? Looks like the fastener holes in the manifold and spacer would need re-drilled vertically, and 30° beveled washers installed between the manifold and nut/bolt head.

    Emmott's Initiation

@Will L. I've been wondering in 3D how the safety wire will work. With elevation difference between the inner and outer bolts. I'm considering using the wire on a second nut so the angle isn't too extreme. If the angle between the nuts is too extreme, the wire would roll over the head of the...

1994 6.5 turbo diesel has fuel running out of the hole in the inspection cover

All lines downstream of the FFM and lift pump should be above atmospheric pressure if the lift pump is functioning

My 16mm head 12-point ARP nuts came in today. I also ordered another rear main seal, since I jumped the gun and installed it and probably should remove it to facilitate removal and replacement of the #5 cap fasteners. If I am replacing all 20 nuts, I have to unload and reload the clamping of...

Thanks Will! Good eye. Yes I will be running a single block off thermostat from a '96, GM #12551519. Followed Heath's article for cooling upgrades and purchased from RockAuto a new 190°F ACDelco thermostat, balanced w.pump, '00 fan clutch, and an LB7 Fan. I replaced the motor mounts with...
