    Thanks for the update.

Banks sidewinder exhaust manifold group buy.

Agreed with the AN fittings but you still need to screw it into the unit, IE fuel pump, water pump etc, which use pipe threads, :p I think Hydraulic's use ORB, which have an o-ring but now, we are totally getting off topic, o_O

Banks sidewinder exhaust manifold group buy.

Its all I use, and I just redid my fuel system with hydraulic and AN fittings and zero issues, on top of that, used it on SBC's countless others, never ever had an issue until now! :(

Banks sidewinder exhaust manifold group buy.

I am not talking about the block end, but the head end, I can't remember if the threads go below the head. The engine is coming out in a few months, currently building a GEP, so at this point, I don't care and in a van, forget it, :( I used the proper stuff, used it for 20+ years, but it...

Lift pump update-Dmax van setup and beyond!

It gets warm but now, its totally liveable. Didn't get to drive it home but it was fine around the shop. 5 psi seems low to me but I can't complain I guess.

Great post on o ring material, most don't even consider but I think it was brought up before, can't remember lol. I think mine are seeping but can't be 100% sure. :( Do they rest on the threads or on the smooth part? Agree'd on the Evans but even without pressure, it would still probably seep...

Lift pump update-Dmax van setup and beyond!

Got the Am pump in, solid 5 psi at idle and cruising, dropped to 2.5 psi at WOT in 3rd gear, 13 psi of boost. The pump was effing loud, so I spent the day re-doing the stock shitty bracket. Ended up making an L brace and using rubber bushings to support it. That really helped, but still to much...

Running Too Much Boost, And Blew A Head Gasket.

Boost is a measure of restriction, so porting makes the flow easier, hence lower boost, and if your flowing more air, your also "leaning" out, which will reduce boost as we don't have any kind of air/fuel sensor or boost pressure sensor to compensate, unless you have a DS4.

The heat will be cylinder head temp, unless you over heat it. Valve stem seals are made of viton. If the o-ring comes apart, nothing will come loose, the o-ring has zero effect on head bolt torque and will simply just sit there, it has no where to go. The turbo boys have proved it, they work...

6.5L 2 almost brand new Rotary fuel pumps for sale!

Both work perfectly, literally brand new, they just don't work for alternate fuels, or better wording, MY alternate fuels, Airtex E84070 Universal rotary pump, 72 gph and 8 psi. $60 shipped. Carter P4601hp rotary pump, 14-16 psi output, 100 pgh, $100 shipped.

I'd like to get more than 5 minutes out of it. Anyhow, probably going with an BG or Aeromotive pump.

So what to use? I hear conflicting reports on the Walbro FRB-5 as well? :(

Long, slow build of my truck

What Carter pump are you using?

Lift pump update-Dmax van setup and beyond!

Called Carter, they use the fuel to cool the motor so either my fuel is too thick, which it can't be as its close to diesel, I measured it or the oil is conductive? I am going to retry with Jet A and see what happens. This also scares me as if I make a batch too thick, then it will cause me...

Lift pump update-Dmax van setup and beyond!

So installed the Carter, worked for a bit then it too died. Thought maybe the Dmax fuel pump and filter setup is too hard to pull fuel thru so bought another prefilter setup, 25 micron, installed, no go. Took the Carter top off and found nothing, but it turns sooooooo slowly, WTF? Put it...
