    Inexpensive Drilled/Slotted Brake Rotors.

One other way to help braking is to put larger rotors on, but in your case, that is really hard to do.

    A military rebuilt 6.5

If your OE ones are good, leave them. The aftermarket stock replacements are junk and you will be doing them in probably 6 months.

    Thoughts on Vaccination shots?

LOL, yes and no. The flu shot doesn't match the strain we got so it wouldn't really matter. I have many friends and aquaintences that have been laid up this year with it, for weeks to months. My wife has had it for over a month. My kids, luckily, didn't get it.

    A military rebuilt 6.5

Great job, I haven't even touch my short block and I trip over it every day.

    Thoughts on Vaccination shots?

I agree with shots except the flu shot. Funny thing is, I rarely get sick yet as I type this, fighting the worst flu I've had in 10 years. :(

Used Banks Turbo kit value for the 6.2

Any decent exhaust shop can make a crossover so yeah, no biggie. Van's don't have a crossover.

To egr delete or to not delete?

I'll let you know when its for sale, if your looking, great, if not, I am sure someone is looking.

To egr delete or to not delete?

The actual intakes are a bit more money. If your not in a rush, mine will be for sale in a few months, probably ask $75 plus shipping.

    Rebuild Time

Trouble is, my 6.2 frankenmonster is about to ventilate from the inside out, I didn't realize how bad they were until I had the pan off New Years day. She's a ticking time bomb and no more road trips with it until the new engine is in.

To egr delete or to not delete?

The intake and hat are a restriction, find a non egr setup. Here's a hat, $55 shipped, brand new. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-94-95-96-97-98-99-00-GM-6-5-Turbo-Diesel-Air-Intake-GM-part-12560679-/231479105377?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35e53ad761&vxp=mtr

    Inexpensive Drilled/Slotted Brake Rotors.

Gotcha. I tend to stick with name brands for brake pads, but that's also just me, :p

To egr delete or to not delete?

Block off plate stops it from working but that lump is still a restriction. Some say even plugged in, it will still set the code. Only way is to delete it and wait and see.

I'll go check it out but for me, personally, I wouldn't trust it, don't have the energy to be a gineau pig and have it explode on me in the middle of nowhere.

fuel economy, who has the best?

I am going to call BS on that one. I am anal about tracking my MPG, I put electric fans on, got rid of the hydraulic unit, and gained zero, nada, zilch, butkiss mpg. This was n/a where a tailwind would affect my numbers. Yes, it ran smoother, quieter and revved up faster but don't expect mpg...

    Inexpensive Drilled/Slotted Brake Rotors.

Drilled rotors will crack, its simpy a matter of when. Every single set I've used cracked and others the same. I was willing to risk it because it wasn't a tow rig, just a daily driver and I am constantly tinkering so I was always looking for cracks. I put some Raybesto's slotted rotors on my...

Personally, I can't see how they would work but sadly, we won't know about Leo's repair for quite some time.

Lift pump update-Dmax van setup and beyond!

Had some pressure issues again, I was only getting .5 psi, if that while driving, thinking WTF now. Traced it to a plugged up prefilter, I got some contaminated Jet fuel so it must have plugged it up. :(

Used Banks Turbo kit value for the 6.2

Sometimes the crossover will have to be custom, no biggie.

The Powermaster 9052 starter for 6.2 and 6.5

I ended up getting the Powermaster, what a wicked starter and even during extended cranking, it doesn't get hot.
