They should all be 4". I have had a dozen HX35's in my possession and they were all 4", same with the half dozen HX40's. I think some of the older Holsets, IE H1's could be 3".
Do you have the 60mm compressor wheel? I've tried alot of wheels and so far, that is the best wheel for my setup. Still have a 66mm to try. My drive pressure is too high, its 2:1 at 13 psi WOT but I need to drop my exhaust and see if that's part of the problem, if not, then I have a 14cm housing...
DO NOT waste your money on Marine injectors, its total BS and all it does is empty your wallet and if you don't get the real ones, they go downhill very fast and your replacing them again.
You can make another turbo fit a van but it takes time, energy if you do it yourself or money if you pay someone.\
I put a billet compressor wheel on a customers 98 dually, he tows a huge 5th wheel, noticed a bit more power and a slight reduction in EGT's.
We dont't really have the option of bigger nozzles as in our case, the pump is the limit, not the injectors. If you have a decent fuel injector local, it might make more sense to get nozzles but get Genuine Bosch, no chinese crap or Bosch India, or find new injectors or rebuilt injectors from a...
Looking good but honestly, I'd have left the intake alone, you want the smaller ports feeding into the larger ports, no chance of air hitting a mismatch.
Do you have a factory turbo van already? If yes, options are severely limited unless your good at fabrication. The stock turbo is a turd due to a small compressor wheel and small ar for the exhaust. I did put a billet compressor wheel on a customers 98 and he tows heavy, he noticed a bit of...
The point is, your doing a quick test to see if they are ok, kinda like good will, lol. I'll check them for $20 but then I am like that. True, you probably won't find a true injection shop who can test them all for $20. You can buy a decent pop tester for under $100.
Like you said, you don't...
