    Removing door badging

Oh I'm not worrying about it. I figured at the rate it's pealing, I'd be ready for fresh paint by next summer. Save on the media blaster that way:thumbsup:

    Dually conversion

I'll have to do some measuring to see for sure. I'd like to not have to spend on the axle if I can get away from it. And don't want to space the crap out of either.

    Removing door badging

Until I put rear fenders on I want to leave as much of the side molding as I can. White paint needs all it can get to break it up. I need to get the peeling in check and put some other color on it for sure. Damn white anyways.:rolleyes5:

    Removing door badging

I'm not worried about any "glue" or 3M type tape. I just seen the prongs on the backs and didn't want to just start ripping them off to find out there were nailed with the tape. Thanks, Brother, John

    Dually conversion

I was told that I don't need to change out the rear axle. The one I have sits in from the fronts by about 1.5 inches on both sides. I was told that would be the same as a 1ton axle. I'm questioning that is why I mention it. I was also told that the front is just a bolt in spacer found only in...

    Dually conversion

I want to convert my SRW K2500 to dually. What all is needed to do this. The pick up is the HD version. Don't really need the 1 ton springs but would like the stability of the duals when towing the 5er. Thanks, John

    Removing door badging

After looking around and trying the search, there is nothing coming up on removing the badging on the door trim. Does anybody know how those badges are attached. I don't want to just start ripping them off. Thanks all

    Soft Tonneau custom shortening

Don't just look at the boat top shops but also the tent and awning shops too. That is where i find the best prices for alterations to already built canvas and vinyl goods. Not so specialized so they charge less. John

Fun with Ted, Todd, Bill and Paul…Resurrecting an Ultimate Rebuild.

Dodged a bullet just to get shot in the butt. Now that just sucks. Wish I was closer to help as well. Those folks will be in the prayers. Great thing to do, go and helping out like that.

Nope, I know I torqued those bolts good and tight the third time I replaced the head gaskets. The heads or I should say one head, has a coolant leak during one of the strokes. It's pulling or pushing coolant into the crank case and causing a condensation issue when it gets warmed up and all...

Fun with Ted, Todd, Bill and Paul…Resurrecting an Ultimate Rebuild.

All has been great. Just finished up the HEO101 class(backhoes, skidsteers, excavators and rollers) and will be headed to HEO103(dozers, scrapers, frontend loaders and motor graters) on tuesday. Then I'll have three weeks after that of CDL to look for work. Hoping that I can find something over...

You know, Paul, that one day this thread will end. Everything will come together and fall into place. Then what the heck are you going to do? Let me know when you have everything done so I can sell you another project to go adventuring on. :rof:

    Mercedes Return Line FYI

Yep got the true to live good ol tygon and it got hard and loosened up and leaked like a Lousiana levey during a major huricane. The other stuff got hard and shrunk then split and it leaked as well. It was nice line and was nice to have the clear so you can see air and all but it didn't hold up...

The next stuff I get will be from the Stanedyne shop.

    Mercedes Return Line FYI

I got less than a year and around 10k miles and that crap gets hard and fails. Same with the silicon tubing. Got hard and failed. Stick with the known good stuff and call it the day. Fuel spraying out of the line on a long drive can waste alot of money real fast.

So would it be safe to say, you've built more decks than you can fling a wire wheel at?

So if you have so much time on your hands you do me up a upper lower and turbo if you want. Then again maybe not. :rof: I've thought about making all my parts nice and smooth and having them anodized blue. Like your purple spacer but blue.

It was good to have you guys here. Your welcome here anytime. The wife is always wanting to cook for people and she loved having you here just so she could cook for you. And just so you know, that was her crappy cooking. Yes, London Broil BBQ'd to purfection with all the trimmins was crappy for...

IDAHO SUMMER DYNO DAY #32, Meridian Id @ Motor Mayhem August 4 2012

No we were not. Just were hoping you made it. This is dodge country so every GM or GM 6.5 we get at the dyno events is fun. If you make it, you make it. The wallet is the most important factor.

IDAHO SUMMER DYNO DAY #32, Meridian Id @ Motor Mayhem August 4 2012

Yeah, slacker, we waited for you to show up to go have us some drinks. In fact we waited so long that we desided to just go have steak instead.:rof: Just hacking on you. But we did miss you there. The next one IIRC is set for november. I'll post it up here when it's in stone. Next up is a...
