Poking fun. I was just wondering about the locals and what they thought about Kiewit before i put in my app with them. Just because they are a huge conglomerate doesn't meen they are a good company to work for. I get out of school in three weeks and am looking at places to work and...

You know, when it comes to using the duct tape, I stopped using that gray stuff with strings in it. I picked up a roll of the aluminum tape with the adhiesive that holds stronger the warmer it gets. Great stuff that won't come off to save your life. It's like Franks Red Hot Sause. I put that...

If you have the specs for this I have a engineering machinist friend here in Boise that could cut them to what you want. You can even stand there and watch while he does the work. And since it's on a 6.5l he would probably cut you a deal on the work to boot. Yep, he owns one too. You have my...

The cost for me to go almost 2k miles (as the crow flies) would be a killer. Plus it would cost more to do that drive that for me to get parts localy. That would be roughly $1216 for fuel there and back. Not including food motel and the likes. If I pulled the fifth wheel then the cost would go...

Yeah i sold the steelies I had. Those wheels were just plain ugly. I have the wheels from a 07 Yukon on it now. My white bed would look awesome on your block cab. LOL I don't think you'd want this bed. It has bolt holes along the wheel wells and a large hole by the cab. But other than that it's...

Dave in Libson, Ohio, Is there any mining in Ohio? Maybe I can get a trip paid for to go and talk to them for a job interview. The swtate of Idaho will pay for the trip and room and board to go to interviews for school students. Boy now that is funny typing. I turn 43 in a couple of days but am...

If I go rear spacer it will just cost me the price of the steel. I have a friend that has a full service machine shop. It would just be a matter of calling him to order the steel and then he could just turn them, or rather have me turn them and drill out the lug holes and be done. But with...

2" spacers is too much if you ask me. I wouldn't want to put that much stress on the bearings. I'll have to see if I can find the numbers for this. The heads might be free but that last new ones were $400 each and they have porosity issues and are leaking coolant into the crank case. Replaced...

    Removing door badging

The badging in the tailgate was loose so I took it off with the hose on high. Oops! It was easy to just use a razor blade to remove the rest of the adhiesive then buff it out with some buffing compound. It's the badging on the side molding I was asking about. I'll just do as mentioned above...

Yeah might have to try that. Before I start throwing money at that I guess I should replace my (new) leaking heads. I have some new ones that I picked up for free the other day.

That is what I was afraid of. I guess I could do like the rest of the sheeple here and drink that koolaide. (get a dodge dually) But I'd rather not. Maybe even look harder at that 04.5 GMC four door dually with 60k on it, I found the other day. Only one problem with it. IT'S WHITE!!!!!! :WTF: :rof:
