Go figure. There is always something else to be done. I for one won't be there. My tags are up and it won't pass Idaho emissions. Plus I have't worked in a week and no work this week to boot. Plus I don't feel like listening to all the koolaide drinkers talk about how the cummins is better than...
It helped me in finding out that the OPS had failed. And when I went through a few from the dealer it helped to know the pressure at the time. It gave out shortly after I had got a good one. Still they are just crap.
I had one of these under the hood for a while. They only last for about 10k miles before they rattle apart. I've been looking for a electric one for some time now that is less that three tanks of fuel.:skep:
And don't dicount the injector noise from air still in the lines or injectors. You say you just replaced them. It took almost 200 miles of driving for mine to get all the air out of the system. And that 200 miles was only two days to and from work. Just a thought. And I have had the same heat...
I guess I could spare a feew weeks. Started a job and have yet to get a full day of work. Hell today I'm not even going in. I need to get over there and go visit the mines and the two pits.
Yeah I told him he could have it since I put larger fuel lines in with the Racor filter. Found it in the tool box when we got here to Boise.
If I take a job there I'll be pulling the trailer over. Most likely in feb or march. Then you can abuse me working on your pick up too.
Hey if I take that job over at Morton, can I stay in your garage for a few days? LOL When you get that airdog in, I'll take that walbro off your hands.
I thought you were closer to getting your motor back that this. I'll have to get that t-valve in the mail to Mr O Thade. Sounds like parts are...
So TT are you part of that club of koolaide drinkers too?:rof: I'm one of the mods for the GM section of the site.
There is another one on the 11th of Nov. I had forgot where I posted this one and forgot about it. Trying to find work now that i'm out of school has taken the front seat in life...
I'd be for cutting out the old section and clamping in the off the shelf. And if it needs a foot of flexie then I'd get two feet and have spare to throw in the parts bin in the under side just in case when out and away from home.
When I replaced my exhaust donuts they did leak a tiny bit but...
So if you are wanting the exact parts used by the factory, you might be stuck with the stealer if they have or can get it. Looking at that I would cut the flex off of the ends and replace with easily obtained parts. But then I have the problem of needing parts when in areas of haveing long walks...
There is one that is always posting DMAX parts on CL. He always has trannys and motors for a good price. This being the land of the cummins, he doesn't move things very fast.
John
Now that he has pulled out, that nasty ol shack you have just don't look the same. As good. :rof:
Those parts look good. So how much of a gain will you get by installing them? Is it still 100 horse per piece?
John

I have a buddy that has a 97 F350 and tried to load a programer on his pick up. The programer refused to load due to a P0603 code. We know that it is a Internal control module KAM error, but have no idea what that meens. Can anyone help please.
Thanks,
John
