I've seen a step side bed with hips added. Talk about dumb looking. It was a late 80's GM body and was hidious looking.
I've looked at the adapters. I can get a 3500 rear for less than the adapters cost. There was only one company that still makes limited runs of them. But then again I...
I'm not about to spacer the rear. I've heard good and bad. As for the bed I checked the wheel openings and it looked like all I would need is the flairs so to speak. I've thought about doing the flatbed deal but with the cost of even used ones, forget that. I'll plug away at it when I get the...
No I haven't. Between school and getting a job, I haven't had the time. I did price out the front hub extentions at the local yards and found some for 20 bucks each. The axel was not as easy to find. I found a guy that has axels for pretty cheap ($150) but he didn't want mine. Just need to get...
Congrats on the new job. I started a new one a week and a half ago. Finding most construction companies want 6 months of over the road trucking to run heavy equipment, I went to work for a division of Navajo Express. Yep I now live life away from home and driving down the snowy roads at 70mph...
I always thought that would look cool. But do it in the chocolate chip style and clear coat it after so it had a nice shine. I seen one one day with an old woodland camo that was cleared and buffed nicely. It was one sweet paint job.
Wow Paul. Do you dislike purple that much?:rof:
I hear you though. There is a power joke running around with purple painted flames and they are fading from a light coat out of the gun. Looks very tacky to say the least.
You should have an almost new pick up if you ever get it all done.
I like the way the powder coating looks but me i would have, and might still do, is clean the parts up and buff them out then have them anodized blue to go with the rest of the blue around the pick up. But that is just me. And i don't care much for purple but that spacer was a cool shade of purple.
I don't know, Paul. There is something about laying on cold concrete that gives me the warm fuzzies. Or maybe when i have to it's never a fun moment and I tend to be more in an upset mood because everything is going wrong.:mad2: I would have chosen the same. Well all but the football thing. Hope...
I have found that when one has to go to Lowes for any project, one can always plan on three trips for that one said project. Always. Never fails. And for me, it's a good thing Lowes is just 1.5 miles from door to door.
Tanner, I've not any injector problems. I sent then in when the pick up was down and the shop said they all tested pretty dang good. He said he was suprised because they were an off brand.
Heath is a hundred or just over away as the crow flies. Yes I could get one of his. But i have heard great things about the KOJO and they were a bit less. The big thing is I'm afraid to head over to Heath's. I know I'd for sure come home broke.:hihi: I have a couple of months to try to figure it...
Is there any place other than the one to get a KOJO chip? I have searched and found nothing through Google. Just the one dealer here in my home town is all I can find and I would rather do business else where.
