While realizing that finding new good parts is a challenge, I still remain allergic to reman / rebuild when it comes to the fuel system. Far too many disapointments with anything other than new parts.
Looked into this as I know folks with older engines. Seems that lead is only necessary for a few engines where most are indifferent to the presence, or lack, of lead just as long as the octane meets minimums. IIRC, whether the valve seat is hard or soft is the key where soft seats are no bueno...
For the front tires, get this:

Easy to apply, just follow the directions.
A tire shop turned me on to Slime. Great stuff for pushing the lives of low speed / low weight bearing tires.
And ^ this is the main problem. Allowing the mobile device to store passwords is a rather big vunerability and no different than putting fish in a barrel and thinking the stork won't snag them. Just say-in ;)
Fortunately the fraudsters did not jump over to stealing funds directly from the bank...
Yup. Was not the Credit Uniion's fault. Or the credit card company's. Or PayPal's. Paying attention is the best defense, although not foolproof.
If anything, this is in the FBI's lane, but am betting the amount is way too small for them to chase. Would not surprise me if the money is now in...
Call me a skeptic, but want to see a few more inteligent posts and responses before I get excited that this is not another bot.
Lets try it this way and see how the conversation goes: Hey @jaytow , how does your favorite fuel taste?
Here is my vote: Get larger diameter tires to mimic the desireable final OD ratio and ditch the GV. Or, re-gear the rear and still yank the GV.
I looked into those things a while ago. Could not really determine the flud change interval were at max it looked like 5K miles IF it had an optional...
My vote is to stop dorking around with the old controller and get new. Especially if the board has any capacitors as they self destruct over time.
Tekenosa is my go-to for brake controllers. The P2 will probably work just fine, but it currently uses blue LED which I find distracting at night. I...
If not already present, gauges for fuel pressure and exhaust gas temperature (EGT) are your friends. Adding a boost gauge is also helpful.
With no real known history on the transmission, consider dropping some money here as well. If the tranny is 4L80E or 4L85E as designed by GM, it is...
FWIW, if any of the potential trailers have EoH, chances are good that the vintage controller is not going to work with them. There is a mitigation of adding a magnet to the trailer's wiring which will fool the brake controller into working with the hydraulic system.
With that, try to buy via local / individual sale.
Last I looked at the action sites (about a year ago) while on the hunt for skid steers, it appears that some African countries are still on a buying spree. No, this is not a politically incorrect comment, it is a direct observation. A buddy...
There are actually some defeats and mods that I am looking forward to doing. Here is an example:
https://www.unsw.edu.au/newsroom/news/2022/10/new-system-retrofits-diesel-engines-to-run-on-90-per-cent-hydrog
In the Aussie example, should not prove much challenge on retrofitting into any pickup...
Excellent questions!
In any event, it was apparently worth it to Cummins to pay $1.7 Billion for ending the US Federal piece.
Now comes the follow-on question of what recalls are in the works and how much that is going to cost. If it is just software, will not cost all that much in terms of...
Pushing technology is a good thing.
But, ignoring the painful experience of others is another.

Am wondering which major OE...
