tell the truth, having chosen to go with OD 57mm, I also thought about installing a clutch pulley (with only 0.3mm backspace difference). has the advantage of further limiting vibrations but then I decided to not complicate my life further.

on old alternator model CS-130 the gasser pulley was OD 56mm...i got 2 of this
with 230 and later alternator the pulley has OD 57mm diesel and gasser
but you can swap for a lower or bigger OD pulley available for the model

then doing calculations I preferred the compromise of OD 57mm pulley over OD 62mm, in order not to lose too much...

what may differ is the rear pulley spacer, the distance from the shaft housing and the pulley seat.
2 pulleys I have here 56mm OD don't have the right spacer, them are 9mm, and the right distance is 6.5mm

I measured the circumference of the crankshaft pulley 600mm
(602mm)...alternator pulley circumference...some proportions
and I found the calibrated ratio is 1:10
1 pulley crankshaft revolution = 10 pulley alternator revolutions...
