that it was only B&S the contractor for GM or AC Delco, it is not known... but part was marked B&S, yes a very small symbol, but it is present both on Harmonic Balance and on Crankshaft pulley in my case ... and both were there from the factory

    Crankshaft pulleys

on the crankshaft pulley, there are only two things to take into consideration, which make the difference: 1) balancing (some products on the market are not balanced by the manufacturer) 2) the quality of the rubber insert. this is the biggest problem that affects the life of this spare part...

    Crankshaft pulleys

smile when someone goes to spend a lot of money on a fluid dumper or a better harmonic balancer, but then bolts a fixed pulley on it where is the improvement?🤷‍♂️

    Crankshaft pulleys

think if GM put there a dumper pulley there was a reason, it would have cost much less to put a fixed pulley when they progected this engine,...know is another part need to change before or later, and would like not to change part for money saving, a fixed pulley has very long life vs OEM but...

    TACH signal from alternator

think I have identified how to correct the odometer from miles to kms the tach signal would been more complicated to correct so a circuit board from a DIESEL 96-99 US MPH instrument cluster WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION will be fine for swap found an used 97 circuit board online for $15....but...

    TACH signal from alternator

no puller pulley is needed it is a simple slide in, if the pulley don't slide off, may be there is rust formed between pulley and alternator shaft, spay some wd40 or similar, a few taps with a rubber mallet and pulley should slide off. there are cases in which rust is very resistant, so need...

    TACH signal from alternator

for now I'll settle for a slightly altered reading from the TACH this when 57mm pulley will arrive :banghead: I will have to wait patiently for delivery as usual:depressed: then a little luck would be enough, quite a lot 😂🤣😂 .... and find the circuit board
