    2004 Yukon XL 2500 LBZ

The Duramax does not have a lift pump in OEM trim except the Vans. It's a good idea to add one but not necessary. I drove my LBZ 355k without one and had few problems. And that's with a higher performance tune over stock. Based on your experience I'm certain you are correct in blaming it on a...

    Should i buy an 06 2500hd with a 6.6 duramax with 298000miles on it?

As that clean and low miles are, they've been bringing up to 30 for the last year. Availability and reliability are the drivers. My nephew was offered 10 and 11k for my old one at 375,000... Even with all the rust on the body. Clean ones are sky high with miles under 200k. Lifts and such are a...

    Should i buy an 06 2500hd with a 6.6 duramax with 298000miles on it?

Price seems a bit high but LBZ Duramax is the most desirable. My 06 is still strong at 375 k. I owned it to 355k and sold it to my nephew.

Big name tuners are no longer selling "off road/race" tuning

Heard from one of the Wehrli boys Father in law (happens to be a good buddy of mine) yesterday that Wehrli no longer does any modifications to delete emissions equipment. I believe they still make components for "off road" use but their shop doesn't take in work like they used to. They currently...
