Yeah it’s kinda tight by the fuel filter, I shoulda relocated that years ago. There’s also too much grime by the oil filter to see any other ports in that location. Oh well I think I can cobble something together to get at the OPS with an old socket, possibilities are endless when you have a...
Ok sounds simple right?
I see nothing easy about that method but ok 😂
I don’t have the “special tool” for that sensor, would a regular crows foot wrench work? Not that I have one of those either 😆
Hmm somebody on DieselPlace or somewhere mentioned a port I could tap into down by the oil filter, anyone here know about this? I’d really prefer to verify oil pressure before tearing things apart in the middle of the yard in a snowstorm...
That is awesome! Glad you got her going again, hopefully for a long time.
In regards to a post from a while back, yes, ECS Tuning is a reputable company as far as I know, I’ve never used them but I’ve heard the guys on TDI Club talk about them.
Been away for a while folks, but now I’ve got a question.
On my 6.5, how do I check the ACTUAL oil pressure? I have no idea if my dash gauge is feeding me BS or if the oil pressure really is fluctuating wildly...
I fear damage may already have been done if the pressure is actually bad as it sat...
Looks like the same setup as the Briggs on my log splitter, you’ve probably got it under control already but if you want I could get you pics of the original tank mount bracket/clamp system. I’ve never had mine come loose.
Oh man, that’s nasty. Like Steve McQueen but electric fence, not razor wire. Ouch.
I know they’re hard to see, I ran into several at the ranch, when you don’t see the gate wire across the approach and go right through 😂 boss wasnt very happy haha
Also, if you have separate bulbs for high and low beams like our trucks do you can just buy LED high beams, and leave the lows halogen so you don’t blind people when passing
Does this include getting hit with an electric fence? 😂 can’t tell you how many times I’ve had that happen when I was ranching. Some of those suckers will light you up pretty good, particularly the one we had for the bull pasture, I must’ve come off the ground at least a foot a couple times
This may get a little long winded, apologies in advance.
The main problem with running plug-and-play/drop-in LED bulbs in halogen housings actually has little to do with proper aiming (although that can be a contributing factor) but is mostly caused by the incompatibility of the light source...
Ok I finally got a minute to look at this car again. Cleaned up battery connections and tossed a known good battery in her, tried clearing codes but they come right back immediately... although I’m not certain the cheap code reader is capable of clearing them? It says “clearing successful” or...
