    My former LBZ

Very impressive indeed. Main thing that really helped is the truck has been maintained and taken care of.

    Tested: 2021 Chevrolet Suburban Diesel.

Would not surprise me a bit. This might be far fetched, but let's say the trucker runs a special hose from the cab to the DEF tank, he never has to stop and pee again..... I have heard of them running a pipe, hose, or line (whatever you want to call it) down through the floor that...

    Test drove a new 3.0L Duramax I6 Chevy 1500 w/RST Package

Oh yea, great looking truck, that color would be one of my choices. I also am very interested to see what kind of performance and what fuel mileage is the truck capable of?

Longbed crew cab all fun til parking

I should have added that the barriers or islands stop run away shopping carts most of the time. I see people park at the bottom of the parking lot, that's fine, but if there is no protection, those carts build up a lot of speed before they hit. Trust me I know, a shopping cart dinged my truck...

Longbed crew cab all fun til parking

I park as far away as possible and if there are concrete barriers or islands I park below them.

    Goodness, gracious 3bals RV a-fire!

    Goodness, gracious 3bals RV a-fire!

Thats ok, you are allowed several passes, after 55, we should be allowed such..... ;) So glad no humans or animals were hurt, that's number one. Material things can be replaced.

Well it happened my lower radiator failed and drove 15 miles with temp gauge pegged.

Acura 3.5 V6 is strong for sure. My wife's RDX has that engine and when you stomp the pedal down it will get up and go in a hurry. Also it is capable of 27 mpg or more on the highway in an AWD. The newer model Acura RDX's have a turbo 4 banger, I hate that engine, wouldn't have one. I drove...

    2004 Yukon XL 2500 LBZ

Very nice camper for sure, glad you saved some money on it, plus you got a nice road trip to go with it. I know for a fact that there is a huge mark up price on a lot of campers, probably more than what's on cars.

    1994 K3500 extended cab dually

Run those errands and blow the soot out of it, that will get the temps up.... :) Great work on the whole project for sure. Time to start on the next one....😁

    4L80E fluid?

@THEFERMANATOR , What do you know about the TES 668 Transynd? It claims to be backwards compatible with the TES 295 Fluid. I run the TES 295 Transynd in my 2006 2500HD. I was unaware of the TES 668 until I started looking around on the net. TES 668 Transynd is $44.00 a gallon (plus 21.60...

Here a few years earlier, poor design. Have to keep the weight on the upper wheel or it spins.

    My weekend therapy!

I run a 54 inch cut, zero turn, Cub Cadet with the steering wheel, to heck with trying to work those left and right levers. I mow some steep ground, I think I have an advantage with the steering wheel mower. I mow much steeper ground than what's in this picture. Yelp that's an old picture...

    My weekend therapy!

Sure thing @MrMarty51, I will tell him just like I have told him before. I will see him in a few months, he owns the land that I lease for deer hunting. He is a big black bear hunter that's taken several black bears, he has no fear, I have much respect for that man, he has been through so much.

    My weekend therapy!

Ok, we have talked about the pluses of the cab, I will mention one other benefit. Protection from debris and other dangerous projectiles. Case in point: I know a man in his late 70's (he is a special one, more later on) that was on his big Kubota Tractor bush hogging one day. He was in a...

    My weekend therapy!

Be careful out there on your tractor, apparently dust and bees are not your only THREAT. That cab is nice and maybe it can offer some protection from dust, pollen and such, maybe .22 Cal. gunfire. This sure was a tragedy for sure for a guy, out bush hogging, on his own land. 2 children could...

New Member, Old Guy, Old Truck

Here, here, careful, what would ever convince you that good ole racing started in these here Appalachian Mountains...... ;) You know it started with moonshiners hauling shine, but maybe it was something else, maybe these ole mountain boys wanted to test a vehicle to the limit, in the curves on...

    Test drove a new 3.0L Duramax I6 Chevy 1500 w/RST Package

@BoostN, nice looking truck, I hope it works out for you. What is the name of that color? My 2006, 2500HD is a Greystone Metallic, I do like gray or silver colors. I have had two red trucks but it seems like the grey or silver ones appeal more to me.
