Thinking of pulling the plug on my 6.2.

Regular gas here 4.07, diesel 4.99, non ethanol is 4.69. Yelp, there has been some converter thefts here and actually they've busted some of them.

What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

Hopefully the Suburban is cured. As far as the Sig 365XL, I have really been eyeballing one of those for a ccw pistol. I know a guy that bought the Sig 365 at first, then traded in and got the 365XL. He said he likes the 365XL better. Sig is one of my favorite brands, all of mine have served...

2003 Monte Carlo SS using oil

Great advice guys. I know it's not the main seal leaking. Transmission guy looked at that when he pulled my transmission and rebuilt it back on October.

2003 Monte Carlo SS using oil

Great idea there Marty. I am familiar with the cardboard under the vehicle. My 2002 daily driver S-10 (4.3 Liter) with 154,000 miles leaks oil mainly from the pan gasket the best I can tell and thats what a mechanic told me. It does not seem to burn oil, but leaks like a son of a gun. It...

So, why do you drive a diesel?

I could go into a long story about the lack luster pulling power of the Vortec 5.3 liter gas engine years ago I had, but that's another day. It's a pleasure to have that low rpm torque, pulling power of a LBZ Duramax, or other Diesel, whatever you have, you know how it performs. This past...

Thinking of pulling the plug on my 6.2.

I have to have one everytime I go from the mountains to those areas. People often hear me speak the Mountain Appalachian Language and say where are you from. One time I was at a convenient store buying ice for my deer coolers. Nice pretty gal at the register, I told her I needed some ice...

Thinking of pulling the plug on my 6.2.

I just bought diesel this morning for $ 4.49 a gallon, I topped my tank off I'm going on a trip to retrieve my hunting camper in a few days. That's going to be a costly trip. Burn about 12 to 13 gallons up there, top it off when I get there and I will burn 21 or more gallons coming back. Last...

    Dually tires

This is the tires that I am running on my truck right now, I really like them so far. Of course it's not a dually, but they ride smooth on the highway. https://www.michelinman.com/auto/tires/michelin-ltx-a-t2

Mobil 1 15W40 Full Synthetic Diesel Oil

Yelp, that's not the only section that's wiped out. The cat and dog section looks plum pitiful. That Wal Mart has had serious manager, employee issues. I was at another Wal Mart about 45 miles to the north of me last week. I would consider that Wal Mart, a genuine country Wal Mart that's...

The ESP oil might have an upgraded additive package, who knows, I am not an oil expert. I have not noticed the Turbo Diesel oil in my post at Walmart in a while, maybe they had it and I did not notice it. I'll be going by there sometime soon I will look for it, I am curious now.

Mobil 1 15W40 Full Synthetic Diesel Oil

I run this oil in my truck. Use to put Shell Rotella 15w-40 dino in it, but switched a few years ago. The picture is a 2.5 gallon jug that I have had laying around for a few years. It does not say anything about being a synthetic blend, but now on Mobile's website, it says it is a synthetic...

    GM 3.6 VVT

Maybe she won't try it out to it's limits. If it was a teenage boy, I'd detune it or mount a throttle stop device on it, if there was such a thing. Seen it too many times, red blooded American Male will run the wheels off of one. Unfortunately sometimes it ends in tradgety.
