How old is your fan blower motor? I've found stuff like that is usually an indicator the the blower motor is on its way out. I also augment the blower ground by adding and additional ground to the dash mount bolt just a few inches away. I've had to redo the connection by the ECM on a few...

What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

Not sure I understand correctly. Did you have power to the purple wire, at the relay, with the key in the start position? Did you have power to the relay exciter wire, with the key in the start position?

Did you try a screwdriver or jumper wire? Is the exciter wire, purple? Are you getting power to the exciter wire? Do you have a load tester? Check both batteries? Check at the end of the cable going to the starter?

Weird crank but no start issue

I install a safety toggle switch under the hood so I don't have to climb in and out of the cab while priming or doing diagnostics. In your case, I would hit the toggle instead of the bulb. I've never used it for driving.

I concur on your foot experience. I saw at least 7 podiatrists and orthopedic foot specialists, before finding one that explained exactly what was wrong and what he could do to fix it. I found out, if a Dr says, "This is the procedure I do." Get the hell out. That's the procedure he does...

What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

I had 2 ablations. I never went back in rhythm. I didn't know it, but I was having reactions to all the meds they were giving me. If the meds don't keep you in rhythm they can keep you out of rhythm. I finally quit going to the Drs and quit taking the meds. I started feeling better almost...

Had she had an ablation? They said a pace maker wouldn't work for me. Something about having murmurs, aflutter, brackacardia and tachycardia I do fine for long periods at a time, but get crazy and am all over the place. I've only been in Afib several days this year, but I had all the other...

Depending on what's available, if you found a cheap low mileage Hummer, it might be worth it for the block.

I averaged 16 or 18 mpg with the 98 Suburban pulling the 26' camper to Illinois from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. That was before ULSD

Weird crank but no start issue

I install a toggle switch to run the lift pumps on everything I install them on. Just fused power to the toggle switch and then to the exciter on the lift pump relay.

Weird crank but no start issue

I'm curious why the hand pump.is necessary, if you have a lift pump. Won't the lift pump pressurize the hand pump to expose a leak? If your losing pressure at the hand pump, it sounds like you have a fuel issue as well as an electrical issue

    99 4l80e in a 95 k2500

Personally, a lot of times, I don't have the amount of time it takes to save money. I forget what I paid on my daughter's 96 Suburban. It's posted here somewhere. I even had them remove and install. They did other work while they had it. Including IP swap. Injector swap and a few other things...
