I can't see hood gauges being so good in the winter with a bunch of snow.
I wanna gauge that reads from minus 20 to positive 30, digital and analog.
Are there different nu.bers that would make it a more universal gauge?
It'd be a good challenge for Mod Mafia, SS diesel or somebody to come...
If the wires touch something while energized there will get some fireworks.
I jumper the lift pump so it runs constantly and leve the key on run so the fuel solenoid stays open
Now would be the time to do it.
I only had one block heater ever go bad.
But the way things are made these days, it might not hurt to have a spare installed.
If this one ever goes bad you'd already have one installed. Kind of like having a spare PMD and extension cables run to the intake...
Do you have the links for the fuel pressure gauge T and snubbed?
Search fuel pressure gauge here on the site.
I haven't seen a definitive fuel pressure gauge posted yet. Ideally, it would be mabe -10 to 25 psi. Analog and digital.
I don't know that such a critter exists
I've supplied power to the lift pump inline fuse on the 1994 trucks. On the trucks it's located passenger side by the load panel.
I remember seeing a picture with it labeled someplace.
What I would call a snubber?
Looks different. Looks to be for a hard piped fuel pressure gauge as opposed to an electric fuel pressure.
Or maybe not for a gauge at all.
I'm not familiar with a Fuel pressure isolator...
I never understand this advice.
Why not jumper it or install a toggle switch to run the lift pump on demand?
I frequently install a toggle switch and inline fuse on jumpers. It just seems easier to me.
Saves all that climbing in and out of the cab.
You're also introducing air before you even...
