Yes I'm sure it does some, I'll know a little more when I convert back to a 4l80 this summer. The tranny builder did say a multi disc converter and TCM program change will do better than a stock converter and stock tcm tune, we will see...
I'm not sure what to think....
My 93 dually has gotten 21-22 on the highway for years now with the cruise set on 70...right now it's a nv4500.
I do know mine doesn't like to be lugged, mine still has a stock 215k motor but it doesn't have any blowby.
I only thought about putting the lights on the walls because of the 12ft high ceilings, figured wall mounted 8-10 ft up would be out of eye level, guess I'll go the ceiling mount direction.
I do understand the why...
So, @dbrannon79 what mileage increase did you get, and at 70mph what rpm are you running? What were your egt and coolant temps?
Question for everyone..
I plan to use the same led lights I use in the other shop, they are 3 strip's each @ 8 ft long.
With the ceiling being 12ft high, what are the pros and cons of installing the light strips about 8-9 ft high along the walls on every wall?
Another thought is to put UV dye in the cooling system and run it a while and maybe that would help see a crack...
Seems Mike has some bad luck, I hate it for him, if it's him ....
Yea no one here uses wire, mesh or fiber, I think it's the same thing... I spent a week with a tamp packing the damp red clay, it was hard as a rock.
This is mostly my engine shop with room for welding and my dually or tractor when needed. I'm not at all worried about the floor holding up...
