There are some OBD1 trucks with a DS4. They are just not as common. I'm not sure what year they went to OBD2 though.

Additionally, if you see it at a junk yard, let me know how much and we can work out something to compensate for picking it up.

Is it those metal tabs on the reluctor that move past the windings on the crank sensor to get the reading? Sorry, I have never seen the crank sensor setup and am curious how it works. I have read about it but just never seen the sensor and the related parts...

Is the reluctor gear the ring in front of the crank gear? Like the plastic looking piece?
