    Pro flo exhaust

Mine doesn't see salt so I'm not as concerned but also understand your sentiments. The Banks Stinger exhaust I put on in '03 is without issue except where the flange connector has deteriorated over time. I almost bought the SS Diamond Eye when I was about finished with the engine installation...

    Pro flo exhaust

There is a new one near me that is far less. I was wondering about the quality of pieces, and the joint at the downpipe

    Pro flo exhaust

Are there negatives about this brand of exhaust system for our trucks? https://www.dirtydieselcustom.ca/products/1994-2000-duramax-6-5l-4-turbo-back-exhaust-flo-822?variant=7720630190116

    Fuel system setup

Thanks for the information and links @Turbine Doc . I'm still not sure I want a bowl type under the truck so I'm considering these: https://kbdieselperformance.com/products/diesel-fuel-filter-remote-mount-base-for-1-14-filters?_pos=2&_sid=f63556597&_ss=r...

    Fuel system setup

The sock has some trash on it but I didn't take time to get a picture. Based on what I've seen on it, though and how much I love removing fuel tanks, I'm thinking seriously about going with a 100 micron inline screen like what I posted earlier in this thread. If the factory sock is 70, then my...

    CV Axle Boots

We have changed a lot of CV boots over the years and have never replaced a whole shaft. I can't imagine doing it with only two hands though.

What did you do with your GMT400 today...or yesterday....

I wonder if @Glagulator has access to a p/n for it if that is what this is.

What does this rare 1996 version look like that I hear about? It was mentioned in the quote above from Husker This?

Is there any flow data to support this on the dual crossover?

    Fuel system setup

Silicone grease is recommended on brake parts, such as the guide pin boots but I am unsure if they are rubber. I doubt anything was used the last time it was out.

Should the O-ring for the seal be replaced while it's out or just reuse the one already on the tank?

    Fuel system setup

I was hoping the tank module was in good shape and it appears to have been greased up way back when it was out before.

    Fuel system setup

I was going to drop it out on the ground but dad talked me into putting it in the air. We sat the rear down on the stands in the picture and had the front sitting on a piece of wood across two of the arms. That allowed enough space to disconnect the supply and return lines. In case someone...

Quick disconnect tools for transmission lines

The clip is exactly as you described, Les. I was just looking for the proper tool to release it. I've pulled the clips out before but I didn't recall the cover. Does the cover need to be replaced? I wasn't sure if it was a one time use piece. Also, I guess we already have a set. I just...

    Aluma seal or bars leaks ? ? ? ?

Either one is likely to cause damage in the form of plugging up things you don't want plugged up, long term. If you need the truck right away then I would replace the offending part rather than pour either chemical in. Then you can address any potential warranty issues with the leaking part in...
