Yeah, I had installed 4” over Rancho shocks but now am ready to drop back down the front end, readjust the torsion bar adjustment bolts. Get it back to factory ride height.
After I get the truck tires back on the floor I’ll drop the front then with the shocks still not fastened at the lower...
I bought new stock length Monroe front shock absorbers.
Attached the top of the shock to the bracket.
With no front wheels/tires on the truck, jack stands under the frame, the length of the shock is still at least an inch short of being able to install the bolt through the lower shock to...

Sometimes when twin engines is run in a boat application, one engine spins clockwise and the other CCW.

Ball joint installation devices, using the weight of the wehicle as a sort if a press and the hammer to help persuade it to bottom.
And RH side us done except torque the lower balling, book says wait until wheel is attached and on the floor before torquing that snut.
And new center carrier...
New NAPA FLEET service ball joints dont fit. Upper dont fit within the U bend and lower is too small of an OD for the bore.
Damnit.
I could go to oriellys and possibly get units that fit, except for, I want parts that last even if I dont. 😬🤷🏼😹😹😹

Screwed up and ground the rivet heads just a little too far , then could not get them to budge to get a sight of the corcular imprint.
Ended it by pulling the upper control arm.
Heaven forbid, I hope to get it back on close enough to get it about four miles to the alignment shop...
