    Timekeeper explosion in P400

Obviously it wasn't, the directions say to grind the shafts for clearance.... those gaskets that can be purchased aren't anywhere close enough to get .050" clearance unless a person uses 8-10 of them....

    Timekeeper explosion in P400

How do you all get 6.2s to 300K miles

You could slow down a bit, your pushing that motor far past it's limits and the cold weather on your route won't help... And have a plan if it dies..

Cut-off wheels for Grinders 4-1/2 and or 7/9"

I use the diamond disc, they clog up on aluminum but work good on steel and don't contaminate when tig welding... I use a needle scaler if there is heavy scale...

Any more insight on an Optimizer engine

    #1 - yes unless you don't mind melting them. #2 - give it a go... #3 - most like a holset 35/40 hybrid..

Alternative would be to tig the relucter to the gear once in place, a couple tacks would hold it..

You might install 2 keys in that spare crank and tig a piece between them then adjust the fit...

Any more insight on an Optimizer engine

#1 - you could have a couple different cups, no real way to know without looking... Doubtful it has diamonds being a n/a motor. N/a motors don't have coated pistons like turbo does, same most everything else internally. #2 - any can be made to work with some fab skills.. without a large body...
